Still continuing the trend of naming the worst of everything, name the worst motel or hotel you ever stayed.  Mine would have to include:

Millie's Desperation Depot--A run-down flophouse along US 31, about 25 minutes south of Indianapolis in the village of Amity, Indiana.

Motel 6--I-70 and Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis.  Though the rooms are adequate, the motel is in a shoddy neighborhood on the east side of town.

...this topic has been brought up before...I remember writing about the Radisson, in Washington D.C. - I'll NEVER stay there again. First place I pulled back the sheets and actually saw a bed full of CRABS.

I'm partial to all the small abandoned 1950's-style motels on the way into Atlantic City from the Garden State Parkway.  They flourished prior to the birth of the casinos in Atlantic City, but just couldn't compete once gambling became legalized there.

A few still exist, but they've been renovated and upgraded.

I usually stay at Cheap Hotels like Motel 6 and Super 8. Last year I had reservations for a Cheap Hotel in Spokane, Washington when I flew there to attend a Gathering of (What Else?) Roller Coaster Enthusiasts. LOL My arrival was delayed when the plane I was on had to make an Emergency Landing. (The Cabin Pressurization System had malfunctioned!) Arriving in Spokane, I find out my Hotel Reservations had been cancelled! I had to call 25 Hotels before I found one with Space Available, and it cost me an additional $180.00 a Night to stay there. Returning home I called the Travel Agent and I got some GOOD NEWS! The Travel Agent should had been informed by the Airline that the flight I was on had been delayed, and therefore do not cancel my reservation. As a result I got to stay in a $250.00 a night "Posh Palace" for the "Flophouse" rate of $70.00 a night!Big%20smile

A couple of years ago I remember we stayed at a Days Inn I think somewhere in Missori (I'm not quite sure), I remember it wasn't the best hotel experience ever, it was kinda dumpy, small, and not that great.
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off
