Just no...nononononono!

This ad features Jan and company butchering "12 Days of Christmas" replacing the lyrics with car features. KMN.

I always hated the idea of retailers reworking classic (usually Christmas) lyrics into a "gimme your money" bullsh*t ad campaign. It's predictable, boring and lacks any sort of creativity.

By the way, the 12 Days of Christmas is one of those songs that always annoyed me. I can go through the Christmas season without ever wanting to hear that.

Jan is back. I saw a mercifully brief ad this morning featuring oversize gingerbread man props.

I'm glad they finally found a way to showcase some of Jan's other talents. You can only get so far in life answering phones, handing people keys, making balloon animals (cars) and ass-sliding across hoods.

But a mediocre singing voice? Now THAT will get you somewhere.

Relentlessly annoying.  It's the "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" of Christmas songs.

saw the one with Jan wheeling out giant gingerbread props to showcase the cars. A few questions come to mind. How starving is that family that they have to break off chunks of a display prop to feed themselves? Who uses a display prop made out of real food instead of cardboard? How big is the oven (and the pans) that baked the gingerbread men? Did Jan make them herself? How did she bring them to work? Did she originally intend to bring them to the Staff Xmas pot-luck and then some staff member was all like: "Hey Jan, those would make great car props, very attention-getting!" Where does one buy smarties that size? Or did she buy costco size box loads of smarties and spend half the night melting them into one giant smarty for the gingerbread men? Just a few questions.

Christmas Ads and music offend me. And this yule turd is one of the worst of the never ending horrible holiday season. Except for the Carolla, Toyota makes some fugly cars especially the Prius turdmobile. So unoriginal so stupid and in your face. Still not as bad as hipster Pomplimoose and Vampire Weekend of a few seasons ago but still a competitor for bottom feeder.
I approve this message.
