Once, when I was working at a drug store while in high school, a black woman came up to me and asked "Do you have dishbags?"  I kept asking her to repeat, and finally asked "what are dishbags?".  "You know---dishbags.", she answered.  We used to sell all sorts of random stuff there, so a bag to store dishes wasn't so preposterous.  I had to get the drug store owner to figure out what she was looking for.
