OK we GET IT !   Can we stop the "Zoom"  app ads, already ?   I get it - you're all safe, sound,  protected, stress free - just waiting on the vaccine and ordering Dominos and McDonalds and waving and smiling  to each other and just - Oh - I don't know - LOVING LIFE -!     It's like the old "Walgreens"  add -  what was the name of that town where nothing goes wrong ?  oh yea Perfect,  USA !    Angry

( Walgreens  had the coolest theme,  however - loved it - extremely eerie....)

The Microsoft Teams ads are the worst.  They make it seem like Teams is single-handedly saving the world.  I don't trust Microsoft.

The new Facebook version is even worse. A whole screen full of dancing twinks... great advertising.

I'm not sure I understand what 'zoom' ads means.  Forgive me, I'm old and not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Yeah!  All of these ads are PITA!

I've never seen thicker dust forming on my television set. I think it's been 3+ weeks since I turned it on.
Don't care about the virtue signaling. Don't care about the constant bombardment of 'in these UNCERTAIN TIMES...' and 'we're ALL in this together!!'
Don't care about the newscasts that spend 27 of their 30 minutes pushing more 'scary' COVID news on us. Nowadays it's Kawasaki Disease. Oh and 3 minutes are spent on weather from the meteorologist's home.
Don't care about the constant reruns and reality s--t either.

Thankful I have a VCR and a DVD player. That's all I need right now. When things return to normal I'll turn the TV back on...
Back after a long absence...still hating those commercials. Go away Limu Emu and Doug!

I used to watch the semi local news from Portland, OR.

I used to watch the Portland, Oregon morning news mainly for the weather forecast. Recently I gave-up. I can get the weather online from the airport where I used to work. The newscasters have become loud and obnoxious! I can imagine the producer or director shouting, Louder! More exciting! I prefer my news 'Dragnet, Joe Friday style'. "Just the facts ma'm". I have not heard of 'Kawasaki Disease'. I have owned a 1965 Honda 305 Scrambler, 1966 Triumph 650 Bonneville, and a 1981 Yamaha 650 Twin. I guess I'm safe from Kawasaki Disease.Smile
