Another POS fresh from the rectrum of Spectrum.

This one is TRULY sickening.

The pale, skinny, mousy faced know-it-all beotch treats her fat, dimwitted husband like something she stepped in then had to scrape off the bottom of her shoe.

First, she just decides on her own that they're switching to Spectrum without any input from el dork-o whatsoever.

Then, at one point, she snarks "Shouldn't you get ready for work...?" after which he hangs his head and slunks away like a whipped puppy.

Then she takes a superior attitude over not having a contract.

I think she's hot to trot for the young, stud cable boy and wants her fat dork husband to get the hell out of the house so she can give cable boy his "bonus".

God, I've been looking for this one.  Angry

That woman?  I've never hit a woman but she comes a close second to the last woman I wanted to smack upside her noggin.

And!  I think the asshat husband works for one of the satellite companies.  That's just how Sharter Rectum operates.

I have difficulty figuring out which one of those two disgust me the most.

Her for being such a bitchy little snot rag or him for being such a d'wimp (dork wimp).

I hope their TV gets fried by a massive power surge.

Right in the middle of "her show".

Thanks, Jimbo! Logged in for the first time in months planning just to complain about this offal. Tickled Spectrum (or would that be speculum?) pink that you started the thread.

Yep, not sure which is worse...whipped hubby or bug-eyed wifey who dry-humps the young cable guy at every turn.

Actually what is worst of all is the fact they air this stinker about every break in prime time. It took about 20 times though before I could understand what Whipped Hubby mumbles about Maple Street.

"Mood=Funny," according to iSpot. No, no it isn't. Not the first time and not after 325,678 airings.

Well, to his credit - at least he knows enough to be HIGHLY SKEPTICAL of any service Charter Spectrum claims to offer.

So it's $89.97 for ALL THREE and you can't get just one or two for $29.99 each because it all has to be bundled.  Why don't they just say it's 90 bucks for all three!

Are men wearing long sweaters now?  I thought it was a lab coat in the still shot.

Yeah, honey, get your ass outta here and get to work so I can watch my soaps all day for $29.99 a month!  LOL

This commercials pretty sh*tty!

The only way this ad could have been better is if he said "Elm Street" and they got a visit from Freddy Creugar after she fell asleep while she was watching "her show"
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off

I've had enough with Spectrum, that I'd love for my cable to go out 'in the rain in the middle of my show'. Now my bill is almost $180/month, a $5 increase the past year. This apartment complex sucks you into two choices - Spectrum or rabbit ears. I keep griping about how I want out of Spectrum and switch to Dish. Not an option anymore unfortunately.
My apartment has now banned satellite dishes and my neighbors were forced to take them down. Downstairs they had Dish Network for at least 2 years. They can give you 30 days notice. This place sucks you into Charter Piece-of-Crap and doesn't let go...no other choice! We're considering going down to an antenna.
EDIT: Also, notice the singing pirate ad from a couple years ago is playing on their TV screen?
Back after a long absence...still hating those commercials. Go away Limu Emu and Doug!

It is not legal for your apartment complex to ban the installation of satellite dishes so long as they comply with certain criteria.

If you decide to pursue this course and encounter any roadblocks, PM me and I'll help put you in touch with the Region-3 FCC Enforcement Bureau agents out of the Portland office.  Apartment complexes rarely "win", but it can sour the relationship and they will sometimes try to retaliate in other ways.   If so, that too may be illegal in your area.  Might be time to set them up and try to cash in?

I'd be tempted.
Good luck.

Or, you could go with the fruity, nanobrew, just below the leather belt, chocolate fag.

Not that there's anything wrong with that!

She'll divorce him now that she doesn't have to sleep with him to get free cable, since something "better" came along...

Add me to the ranks of this growing list of whoever loathes this poor excuse for a cable ad. At least this gives new meaning to "competition's paying the price", if nothing else.

This stupid ad is still airing 6-8 times a day. I'd love for her Spectrum to go out 'in the rain in the middle of my show' so she can complain and switch to DirecTV...not after spilling coffee on herself, getting a paper cut and banging her head several times. This stupid apartment and their rules!

OTOH, not only do they not allow dishes, but they don't allow you to spray paint parking spot numbers! My parking spot has both the new '9' and 'VISITOR' showing at the same time. More times than not my parking spot is taken when I come back from the store. This makes me very mad! Sometimes the person sits there for the whole weekend, forcing me to take a visitor spot several doors down. Apartment told me I'm not allowed to spray paint a '9' over the visitor sign. AngryAngry

Your mistake was in asking permission.

I would've just done it without asking, then denied that I was the one who did it if they said anything to me about it...

Did they happen to mention whether you could just paint over the "Visitor" with a square colored to match the background.  Do that, and then claim later that you didn't understand their directions.

I love your depiction but I don’t hate this one. The husband saves it for me. His expression and what he says at the end cracks me up.
Yes the wife cucks her hubby out, doesn’t tell him she called a competitor to buy his product, and finally cuts his balls off by telling him to get ready for work. But like I said, I feel sorry for the husband so that’s how I handle putting up with this ad.
