Someone has to say it if it hasn't been said: I can not stand that little kid with glasses in the latest Sonic commercials. He is eating a milkshake in the new one and making comments and on the other one he is talking about how fudging hard it is to make a burger because you have to buy all the ingredients for the burger plus buying a grill and what not... I don't know...just annoying as all get out and stupid to boot. These commercials with that little Eggbert wanna be have got to go away. SO ANNOYING! Especially when they play it over and over and over and over again. It just makes me want to screamAngry

Not the worst commercials I've ever seen or even the most annoying to me personally.

But I can see how someone else might hate them.

Here's anther one with little Eggbert....

These are the Sonic commercials I always liked....

Well, I am back after a hiatus due to some personal things I will mostly keep hush on, other than getting employed by a grocery store outside of Philadelphia.

As for the topic at hand, I really could care less for this brand of advertising. It's not just that I don't care for the "smart kid" trope, it's that I also have a limited patience with bad child acting. As I have watched television shows in my spare time away from work on both cable and Netflix, I must admit, child acting ranges from tolerable and decent to infuriating and annoying. This particular young man falls under the latter opposed to the former because he is just so annoying. Not infuriating, but, closely threading the needle toward the infuriating part. However, if I see this ad too many more times on television, then I will revise my feelings and label him as infuriating.

Back from an unexpected hiatus. Time to rip ads a new one all over again.

With the exception of Opie on The Andy Griffith Show, I've always felt hat the fastest way to ruin a perfectly good TV show is to add kids. Thumbs Down

Not sure, but I think gaudy eye makeup is kind of like a trademark of old (middle aged, actually) Mexican ladies.

These commercials are trying there best to appeal to simple minded knuckleheads. It's amazing the demographic crowd they seek are such a small group.

There's a sucker born every minute.
