People that like this song probably like the taste of gun metal, too. If you don't understand depression, just start your day off with this song for a week straight.

Another very depressing song to call it a day by.

The two songs I would've mentioned right off the bat, already have been---Puff and Bojangles.

OK, I'll add another.  Total schmaltz, but yes---Honey by Bobby Goldsboro.

Here's kind of a downer you might not be familiar with if you weren't much of a Grand Funk fan (like I was)....

And what the hell why not....

That one's on my regular listening list when I go into Youtube.  I tried the original (by the Animals), but it just didn't cut it.  It's not a song that bums me out or anything, though.  I think I've already listed all the ones that do.

This is my preferred version, off the live album...

I wore the grooves off that sucker when I was a kid.

I can only imagine what my folks must've thought about it blaring out of my room constantly. I'd listen to some songs over and over, like two or three times in a row.

I don't understand how, or why but listening to Billy Joel's "Don't Ask Me Why" puts me in a sour mood.
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off

I get a little blue listening to his song "This Is The Time".

Has a kind of lonely feeling about it.

Same with Sting's "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You" and John Mellencamp's "Check It Out".

It's good to see that Jimbo and I have the same taste in great music. Thumbs Up

Some music really grabs me, takes me back to a different time and place.

I was in love...a lot of times. A serious relationship is pure bliss, providing the feeling is mutual and the break-up doesn't come too soon. I'm pretty pleased with myself for investing some time in this fine woman I have living with me here now.

Get your hankies out (I'n just listing them -can't embed for some strange reason - oh because I'm ellegally logged on at work:

Operator - Jim Croce

Wild FDire - Michael Martin Murphy

And for me, personally, Turnn the Page - Bob Seeger - that freaking song would play EVRY TIME I was driving back from the hosipital when my father was dying. And this was in 2004 so it's not like it was currently being played. AND - the weird part - always when I merged onto the same parkway (Cross County Parkway if anyone is keeping score) during a one hour trip. Every. Single. Time.
The artist formerly known as Madawee

Here's a song that's guaranteed to bring you down.

Ironically, it's called Don't Let It Bring You Down.

One of my favorite Neil Young songs.
