I HATE THESE COMMERCIALS.

I don't care about your brewery or your boston lager or any of the stupid beautiful hops you brew with or how much you love your beer and how traditional your brewing company is or how you are all a family and you only employ dudes who wear nothing but overalls with no shirts and who have long beards.

God these commercials piss me off. Jim you and your silly little drunk smile, I think you're an alcoholic who created a company just so you can drink more.

Really.  What's with these young brewery types always in that 19th century drag?

I don't see what's wrong with them myself, and if you're a brewer that drinks on the job, you're a very bad brewer.

Bad commercials, but it's one hell of a great beer.

Maybe they should put together an irritating jingle like  Miller 64. Or get a bunch of young yuppies getting together while holding a bottle of beer - yeah, that's it.

They're really pushing this stuff on TV round  here. The latest one involves a bunch of hip-looking 20 somethings drinking beer that (allegedly) they don't know was Sam Adams Boston Lager. When all is revealed, one surprised young man says that he's been "selling himself short" or words to that effect. No Sam Adams might well be a decent beer. It's way better than the usual adjunct swill that passes for beer but it's nothing special.

I can't stand the shots of friendly brewers larking around as they work; especially the bald guy with the beard who looks like an extra from the set of "Deliverance." The owner (founder?) then jumps out of a vat of beer fully clothed, arms aloft, like he's just been bitten on the ass by a giant crab.

Sorry, but this commercial will not induce me to buy Sam Adams. It might induce me to throttle Jim Koch though. Annoying twerp.

Sam Adams is delicious, and I can't say the commercials are any worse than the light beer swill like Miller Lite or Bud. The new Heineken commercial has emerged as my most hated.

One Sam ad that bugs me is where they're interviewing beer snobs that are trying Sam for the first time, and they all love it! Of course it's good numbnuts, what were you comparing it to before you tried it? Steel Reserve?

Also when the owner is swimming in a giant container of beer, and pops out with his hands in the air. We're glad that you're excited about the beer, but you just ruined a whole batch.

I know a little something about 'beer' and I have to take the other side of the fence, here.
Sam Adams is weak 'home brew swill' at 'export prices' - I wouldn't even give it to a person I don't like.
I won't drink it at home
I won't when I'm alone.
Not when outside in my shorts
Not on the company dollar at airports
I will not drink it here or there
I will drink it sitting in a chair
There's no Sam Adams beer for me
I'd rather drink monkey pee (Confusedwait! I take that back!)

~~~If you want a REAL 'hand-crafted' beer, snatch one of THESE~~~
Is that Jim Koch, the founder, doing the voice over? He sounds like an alcoholic.
Yeah, he does have that alcoholic look/sound to him.  Reminds me of Charlie Rose...who, I dunno---just may be very, very tired.
