The Roc ads with various women telling thier ages " I'm 43; I'm 57, I'm 38" etc. Is very deceptive in nature because the women obviously look younger than the age they say they are, thus giving the impression that using Roc will make you look younger. Yet at the bottom of the screen it says "Dramatization" which means these women are merely acting and they can make up any age they want because they're just pretending to be the age they say they are. So the woman that says she's 43 and looks 33 probably really is 33, but posting the word dramatization gives the advertizer license to say anything they want.
Very deceptive.

Well put. Thought I'd perform 50-cents worth of research on the product; it appears to be possibly more garbage.

Look at the ingredients.

Look for customer testimonials (are there any?)

I doubt that if she looks 33, she's really 33. Don't you remember the immortal words of Chris Rock?

"If a woman tells you she's 20 and looks 16, she's 12. If a woman tells you she's 26, and LOOKS 26... she's damn near 40."

I never understood why women would lie about their age.  If a woman said she was 43, when she was actually 53, my first thought would be "Y'know, you're not looking so good for 43".

If they really wanted people to be impressed, you'd think they'd say they were 10 years older than they really are.

Even then, who are they fooling, and why would they want to?

I'm with you Thor...I'm 49 and I'll tell you I'm 49....and when I turn 50 (!) soon I'll tell ya that too.  If I ever get so shallow that I'm afraid to tell my age...shoot me and be done with it.

Thespianmom, I'll joke about being as old as I am, but I'm sorta proud of being 52.  I don't really know why...I just am.

I love getting older! Well Im only in my 30s now, I may change my mind when I'm 70 and arthritic...but for now lying about my age is a stupid old (heh) fashioned notion

I loved getting older in my 30s, too.  Even my 40s!  But now that I'm going to turn 53 next month, it's suddenly not so amusing. Cry  I've never lied about my age, and I hope I never feel the need to.
