The famous Liberty Medical and Quaker Oats pitchman, star of Our House and supporting actor in Cocoon and The Natural died at 85. May he forever RIP.

Here, many of us might remember him as a spokesman in a "diabeetus" commercial.

I guess 85 is a pretty good run for someone with "diabeetus".
My old college roomate who had type 1 "diabeetus" bought the farm at 62. RIP Wilord.

I too remember Wilford for the Liberty Medical ads. For many years, you couldn't watch the Price is Right for many years. Not to mention, he was playing elderly characters at 50, leading many people to believe he was alot older than he was. 85 is still a long life though. R.I.P. Wilford.
