Disapprove

Hugh Wilson, creator of 'WKRP in Cincinnati', passed away today at age 74.

I suspect this may touch a few fans...thanks for the entertainment, Mr. Wilson.

RIP

Pretty good show.

I used to watch it a lot back when it was in production, but pretty much passed on it when it was on one of the retro channels for awhile recently.

Never heard of Hugh Wilson.

RIP I suppose.

Oh man, I have a lot of great memories of WKRP In Cincinnati from watching it on TNN back in the early 2000s! Great show, wish I could find it again on available retro channels.
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off

ConfusedWinkYou lead such a sheltered life - were you a 'no-kill shelter mule'? He passed in Charlottesville, Virginia - a rather famous city, even recently in the news. I can take you there, but I would have to put a hood over your head so you couldn't see where I was leading you since it's a secret. I'd take the hood off and introduce you to all of my friends when we got there.Big smileWink

My illustrious brother graduated from there and even stayed in the oldest dorms (which date back to Thomas Jefferson).

All joking aside, I was a fan in the same manner as ol'Mule. I knew this news would snag MrT and knowing that touched me as it should any old acquaintance or friend, so it was ever so important to pass this news along with a touch of respect for both Mr. Wilson and his fan base.

If you want to see the original episodes, you'd have to get them from the Yahoo WKRP tape bootlegging group (if they are still around.)  But they weren't too friendly, if I remember right...  Wink
