I can't tell. At first I thought boy, with the shorter hair and all, but it's a ballet class with all girls, so I don't know.

He looks like a boy to me. Plenty of male ballet dancers.

You can tell he's a boy right here....

....because of the shoulder and outline of the chest musculature.

Nope.

But we all know there are certain outwardly noticeable differences between the male and female physique in terms of musculature skeletal structure, etc.

If you look closely, you can kinda see an outline of the pectoral (chest) muscle beneath his shirt.

And let's not forget also that, typical of and in keeping with today's PC mindset in commercials, it's almost required that a boy be shown in a traditionally "girl's" activity.

Let's see how many check marks this one gets:

Boy/girl shown doing a traditionally feminine/masculine activity-check
Use of cliche marketable catchphrase, in this case "I got this" - check

Final count: two

Hate to point out the obvious, but probably a "double threat"... gay kid doing ballet, and he's "got this!"
When a true genius enters the world, you will know him by this sign; all the dunces will be in confederacy against him....

The kid will eclipse Chuck Norris by combining the arts of ballet & kung fu, and turn into an internet superstar...  (dammit, where's a sarcasm emoticon when you need it?!)

I'm not advocating or condoning bullying at all but the reality is kids like this will most likely get a lot of swirlys in the school toilet by the Nelson Muntz's of the world
