Chubby brunette who I've seen in at least 3 commercials in one day. Found two of them...

She used to be in the 1-800-DENTIST commercials.  Aside from the fact that her character was obnoxious, I found her voice to be grating.  I still do.

Are you talking about this one, Faith?

That's a different girl.  Her name is Suzi Barrett.  She's also in the Esurance commercials.

They do kinda look alike, though.

And now she is in a yogurt commercial.  I think it's yoplait. Ermm She is so annoying!!

Why did they pick a woman who sounds like a squeaky five-year old boy to be in so many commercials? The Yoplait one really gets me. Her voice makes me want to rub the sides of my head with cheese graters. That might be what these companies are going for with someone so off-putting, but I don't give a crap about their yogurt, insurance, or hardware.

She's in a new Fiber One commercial (for those snack bars) where her husband catches her pretending that she made them herself.

(No video for it yet.)

I just caught a quick glimpse of her on some TV show called The Exes.

I had a teacher in 8th grade who had the same hairdo as the one she has in the Flo commercial.

That was around 1971.

I just saw her in a commercial for Milo's Kitchen dog foog (no video for that one either). She really gets around.

Saw her the other day in a Target "back-to-school" commercial.  She's the lead singer of some bubblegum group doing We Got the Beat, but with different lyrics.

I like her dog treat commercial--that dog is so cute.  And I was confusing them sometimes though I think Suzy Barrett is a tad younger.  I like all of the ads SB is in except the Metamucil(?), some fiber product, and she is on an excercise bike or something.  She almost looks demented and her hair looks stupid, too.  IMO, most adult women (and men), don't look good in side-of-the head pigtails. Wink

I see the similarities, but I don't confuse the two.  Barrett appeals to me.  Moore, not so much.  They're both cute, but Barrett seems like a rock and roll chick, while Moore's more the career girl/young soccer Mom.

Melanie Paxson Moore whateverhernameis is trying to fit into whatever demographic the advertisers are looking for.  Seemingly single chubby girl in progressive and yoplait.  Domesticated doggy mom in the dog treat ones.  Cool, hip, headed towards middle age woman in the Target ones.  Housewife in the Fiber One ones.

How are advertisers not feeling she is getting WAY to overexposed at this point??  She is just quirky (annoying/squeaky) enough to be VERY memorable, and I don't think she can be taken seriously when hawking anything at this point since it's clear she's just taking jobs for a paycheck.  She is all over the damn place!!  Grrrrrrr!! Angry

"I'm in deep, babe."   When she says that at the end, I want to throw a brick through the tv.

apparently I'm the only one in the world, but I actually think she's really cute.  The voice doesn't bother me, but these commercials are small doses.  Listening to it every day could be a different situation..

I think it was about 10 years ago that she played Joyce DeWitt in that TV-movie about Three's Company.

I hate and despise that woman with all my tele-soul.
So, when watching reruns Rules of Enagement, lo and behold! there she is as Deidre, Audrie's preggie co-worker.! For crying out loud!  Go away!

--- People are so un-happy when they see someone being successful. I don't see you on any television channels making any money, or making a name for yourself.
--- Is your life so horrible, and unproductive that you have the time to talk rudely about someone who is doing something, with their life.(I'm off work today thank you)You prove to me, without knowing you, that people hate to see others succeed and become successful, something's working for her, because she keeps getting many different commercials(jobs)in a very competitive industry and is extremely successful.
--- The first time I ever saw her was on the insurance commercial and I said to myself, "This woman is going to be around awhile". I found her to be a very(in hiding) sexy woman, and I could imagine her at her perfect weight with those beautiful, eye's and porcelain, skin making men swoon after her. I also think her voice is sexy. Melanie Deanne Moore is a beautiful, woman and I believe she will be on a show before long, or in a movie....

This is Commercials I Hate and this forum is called 'repeat offenders' if you don't like it, fine. Please don't act holier than thou and say we're all bad while you're all good.

We're sick of this person and we have the right to complain about her, then you barge into here saying "you're all losers!" Is not a nice way to introduce yourself. Play nice or GTFO!

Melanie, we're not jealous of you. We're tired of your dumb face. Stop taking commercial jobs and go get an Associate's in Medical Technology. Do something good for the world. But make sure you take Developmental Writing first, because... "eye's"...

AD. I have to totally agree with you. If nitro thinks Melanie deserves an acadamy award that is their opinion. My opinion is that she is the most annoying and over exposed commercial actress in recent times (except for Flo).

Melanie Deanne (Moore)Paxson

I hate this chic and what makes it worst is that she is in 5 or more commercials that are currently playing, she reminds me of chics I have had to work with and have hated in the past.

If I ever get into Hollywood or wherever commercials are made I want HER agent, he must be a f#@king Jenious to sell this chic for so many commercials.

Point 1-How would you even KNOW if you saw us on television channels or making a name for ourselves? In case you hadn't noticed, most people here don't actually post under their real names...or do you think there's actually a "PaWolf" or "AdNaseous" running around out there? Likewise, most of us don't have pictures of ourselves for you to look at either. So it's not like you actually know who any of us are, for all YOU know I might be Johnny Depp or Angelina Jolie.

Point 2-Believe it or not, pretty much EVERYBODY has downtime. Doctors, lawyers, construction workers, CEOs, bus boys, cashiers, cops, firemen, pizza delivery guys, etc ALL get time off, you know? We don't work 24/7, and it certainly doesn't take much time to post on a forum. So yeah, actually, you don't have a f**king CLUE what anyone here is or isn't doing with their lives. Me, I have access to the internet at my job, so I actually post here AT WORK. As for the second half of your poorly thought out point...maybe people just find her annoying. If we just "hated to see others succeed", I assure you, there are numerous actors, singers, athletes, etc who are FAR more successful than she will EVER be that we could talk about...in terms of "success", she's not exactly high on the radar mate. She "stars" in a few commercials, and most people don't even know her name-the fact that we DO actually puts us higher up in regards to her "making a name for herself" than the vast, vast majority of the public. Even in terms of "ad stars", she's got a long way to go because she has the recognition of "Flo", "The Most Interesting Man in the World", or for that matter, the f**king Geiko Gecko.

Point 3-Okay, you have the hots for her(and based on that description there, you've probably also had more than one sexual fantasy about her), we get it. Doesn't make your other points any more valid. Also doesn't mean we are gonna share your feelings. You think she's hot and wanna bone her-good for you. I don't. I don't think she's ugly, but yeah, not someone I'd ever "swoon over" either. I've worked with many girls I find far more attractive, and given the choice between hooking up with her, or hooking up with a certain cashier girl who works at the local Cracker Barrel, sorry, but the cashier girl wins hands down.

Melanie may be a grown woman who sounds like a little girl when she speaks, but she was incredibly good as Joyce Dewitt in the "Three's Company, Unauthorized Story," TV movie. Her "You are now your own people,"(When Suzanne claimed "Her people" were the ones making Suzanne out to be a bigger star than John and Joyce, Joyce believed it the first time, and the second time it happened, Joyce said this powerful line) and "Don't do me any favors,"(After there was tension between John and Joyce after John betrayed her (I think) and then tried to suck up to her by getting her an interview on primetime tv, I think) lines were eerily good.

My name is Donathan, pronounced the same way you pronounce Jonathan, except with a D. :D $608 for her brother's scooter. Fair is fair my ass. Being tough on Public Access TV is priceless.

I'm actually Darth Hillbilly. I whittle with lightsabers and convince farmer's daughters that the long skirts aren't the skirts they're looking for.

Also, saw melanie in a mattress ad wearing a tight-fitting top and some stretch slacks, and I gotta say, not too shabby.

How did you guys find out shee's Melanie Deanne Moore now? I didn't see anywhere on the internet that she's divorced. Also, I love her commercials. I saw her Yoplait one first. Then the fiber one commercial, Ansestry.com, those candies with a weird name, and finally red robins commercials. I also saw her in the threes company movie.

Yep. That is the fat xxxx. I hate this bitch with a passion. Her and the other bitch with brown hair on repeat offenders. These two dominate. Last seen her in a red robin commercial. I literally ban every place that uses her. And the Alynn girl from McDonald's. I married a 14 yr old.

Terrific. Now she's teamed up with another old nemesis of mine, Captain Obvious from Hotels.com. Wacko
