There was a recent news story about Fiona, probably about the SB ad.

*I* say 'Fiona on Toast' sounds a lot better than tossing any toast to the water-borne piglet! 'Fiona In A Pan' basking in a chartreuse for about 8 hours at 475 degrees. Keep the eye! Very tasty, meaty little jelly ball - a real delicacy. My question is, who is the random black woman giving the toast and what qualified her, other than being black and female, out of all the other people in the room, to be the one to step up into the spotlight and deliver her inspirational soliloquy? Yes it's impressive feat and the hippo is cute but how is this ad gonna get me to buy your product? Yeah, it's all about the PC. Nothing to do with cute baby hippos. I guess we're supposed to see the black woman (and all black women by extension) as being like Fiona---overcoming, being uplifted blah blah blah. It's all become so tedious. |

Yes, they're all smiles right now, but wait until someone plays with Full-Size Fiona. Fiona at full size likely won't share pools with two legged folks, or anything for that matter, and, that cute little bite you saw her put on someone becomes a two pronged hole punch through the torso for that animal lover who just wanted to give Fiona a kiss. |
