Today is Palm Sunday, which heralds the beginning of Easter Week, or as some call it, Holy Week. Right Now I am watching the 1959 Epic Ben Hur. All week I'll be watching a Bible-Themed Movie. My Schedule is as follows:

Monday Facing The Giants

Tuesday The Greatest Story Ever Told

Wednesday The Bible

Thursday King of Kings

Friday Barabbas

Saturday The Ten Commandments

If there is something you do this time of the year feel free to post away. Have a happy Easter Week fellow CIH'ers! Smile

The Walking Dead, which is about a Resurrection of sorts.  The last two episodes of the season are tonight and next Sunday.

Me too, even though it gives me nightmares.

Watched Man of La Mancha, Mrs. Miniver, State Fair, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir right now.

Just because I wanted to, no reason.

Now that I know it's Holy Week, I'll plan accordingly.

Moulin Rouge (The old one, not the Nicole Kidman one.....okay, I'll watch both in the same day)

THe Owl and the Pussycat

Nuts

Fatal Attraction

Knobs and Knockers 7

I find the zombie kills to have a calming effect.  Sort of a tension reliever.  Last night's decapitation by wire, was one of my favorites so far.

Michonne was awesome last night. So was Merle. :(

The weird thing is, my ZA nightmares barely have zombies in them! It's more of that "Fear the Living" thing.

I'm waiting for one of those dreams.  I often rewatch the latest episode when I go to bed.  Often, when I have the TV on when I'm sleeping, I'll incorporate whatever's on into my dreams.  It's just a matter of time before that happens with The Walking Dead.

As much of an asshole as Merle was, I was really sorry to see him go.  He was a great character.  Plus, everyone likes Darryl, and seeing how upset Darryl was over his bro's death, it's hard not to feel sorrow over it.  Plus, Merle ultimately really did come through.

Michonne's one of my favorite characters.

I searched for "Jesus Christ Superstar"  but it's not on.

I may watch "King of Kings" on Thursday. If I can yank the remote away from Beloved.

Agreed. Merle was just getting good, and Michael Rooker is a really solid actor. I don't know how Norman Reedus does it, but he made that scene even harder than I expected.

I had high hopes for Michonne, and then it seemed like they wasted her potential for a long time, just having her stand around and glower a lot. Fortunately they seem to have gotten a clue and are letting her live up to her potential.

Yeah, I was just waiting for Michonne to shine.  She was too dynamic and intense a character to keep her in that glowering state.  In fact, my bro who also watches this show, really disliked Michonne for a long time.  I didn't; I knew she was gonna be a great addition.

Merle was the guy who, all along, you think "Someone's gotta put his lights out".  And then when someone finally does, you think "Oh sh*t!  I didn't want that to happen".

The scene of Darryl seeing his bro was one of the toughest to watch.  It rivals the scene when Carl and the baby emerge from the prison without Lori.  Lincoln's performance when it dawns on him what actually happened inside, was gut-wrenching.

On a lighter note, I like last night, how Glen went "shopping" for Maggie's engagement ring.

^^ You two sound like a couple of cackling hens discussing All My Children.LOL

The Military Channel is showing The Rise & Fall of Adolf Hitler this week.
Nazi henchmen beating up old ladies.
Placing poisonous Easter eggs out for the kiddies in concentration camps.
Stuff like that.

Well, revising my previous selection of movies, I think I'd like to watch The Life of Brian.

Is there a Network showing this movie on Thursday? Bear in mind I have all the movies listed on DVD, and I'll be watching them uncut and devoid of commercials. Big smile\

(I always time my copy of The Ten Commandments to start at the same time ABC's version does, just to see how many commercials they've crammed into their copy. DeadAngryLOL

Prolly 'craminals with no minds'...or my brains rolling over.
I kinda sorta prayed nobody important would get laid off...so one of my counterparts is now 'retired' and his rather large staff is all looking at ME.
Got crammed with another staff - been years since I had a crowd this big...been talking so much that I'm hoarse.
I'm praying for a few hours to watch the back of my eyelids, or that the GPS on my 'idiot phone' works really good, so MissyDWolf can find my mortal remains when my spirit gets whisked down to El Punto de Mehiko to meet up with Jesus Bunjelos, after I have a friggin' seizure and some crack swine swipes my no longer needed wallet before she can get the change friom my $5 allowance and Ollie's Discount Card.
Ohhhhh....sorry - this is all about watching T.Wee, right? I think I'll take a pass on that one...maybe I'm in the wrong thread...apologies...

This is nothin'! You should see the sites with multiple boards devoted to every aspect of the show! One thread for each character, a thread to figure out the timeline, one to compare the show to the comics, one thread for each episode, one for spoilers, one for speculation WITHOUT spoilers, etc....

^  It's fun to speculate, but the only thing I've ever looked up was the timeline and a few questions I've had over some details.

Part of the problem I've had in remembering certain details was that I knew nothing of the show until AMC ran a marathon last year prior to the premier of the second half of season 2, and I figured I'd watch one episode.  That weekend, I ended up watching 17 hours of the show!  I had no time to absorb it all.

But yeah---there's a lotta stuff out there.  It's practically a cult.  And I feel myself slipping.  I'm already bummed out that the season ends this Sunday and that I'll have to go a half year "without".  LOL

Slight Change in my Game Plan. My church has a Maundy Thursday Service tonight, so I'll watch Barabbas tonight after I get back and King of Kings tomorrow after the Good Friday Service (Which is held earlier than tonight's service). Thumbs Up
