Donna Summer died this morning after a battle with cancer.  She was 63.

RIP, Donna

This news brings me back to the days when I used to dress up in my gold platform shoes and satin short shorts and go to Studio 54, where I'd dance the latest dances on roller skates and drink Harvey Wallbangers and snort cocaine through $100 bills and sniff poppers and have sex on the dance floor with Liza Minelli and whoever else and ...

Unhappy...well damnitnow! I guess that 'date' I asked her for (and never got) about 35 years ago is now totally out of question now, isn't it?!

Yea, I'm kidding.

Always hated DISCO, but she made a few moments of it tolerable.

R.I.P.

I didn't know she was sick.  It is strange that I just happened to watch an awards show video a couple of days ago where Donna Summer and Andy Gibb were announcing an award together.
