I don't often know the products of commercials that I hate, have successfully shorted out the wire in my brain that notes and retains some unwanted details, or, it might be a benefit of having ADHD, yes, that IS it.

The commercial is short, and the voice sounds like Keifer Sutherland. When he says, "opportunity," the way he stresses the letter "u" affects me the same way Stewie Griffin stressing the "h" in "Cool Whhhhip" affects Brian the Family Guy dog. I can't stand it! I'll be over at the stove stirring in my cauldron, and I'll hear that commercial coming from the living room, Kefer Sutherland saying "oppor-TYOOON-ity" that way, and suddenly his velvety voice is so velvety it feels like cotton balls sliding across the edges of my teeth. Sorry for anyone that gave a chill to. It did it to me too. I wish he would just say "opportunity" the way the rest of us do, because the commercial itself is too short and inoffensive to catch it in time before he says it so I can click it off before I have to hear it. It's strange, the little things that upset us.

There was another commercial a few years back, with a woman who said her u's like that.  Like you, I can't remember the product.  I can still hear her voice, though.

Maybe it'll come to me.

It's starting to come to me.  I just recalled that the woman I was thinking of, pronounced "two" as "tyu".  She had kind of a gushy voice.  Still can't remember the product, though.  Give it time.

It's comin'!  It's comin'!

Her name was Amy, and she was shilling for Jenny Craig or some weight-loss pill...which helped her lose weight and become "a size 'tyu' ".

It was Amy from Nutrisystem.  This isn't the commercial I remember, but here she is:

Oh, God (as in Thor lol), I remember her. She affected me like Keifer does only so much worse. I would hear her come on, and compulsively have to make fun of her out loud to myself, "Look et myee, aim in a syize tyoo!" I wish you had not remembered! I'll better appreciate Keifer Sutherland's mild little "u" hereafter.

No more channeling Madeline Kahn for me for a few days.  She's in the corner.

What about the financial advisor (i think) commercial , the firms name is Edward Jones, I can read it on the screen, but when the announcer pronounces the name he says the "Jones" part sooo weird. I'm like WTF I thought there was only one way to pronounce Jones, but no this douche b has took it to a whole new weird level....
