Sort of, but not really.

According to the ingredients label, aside from carbonated water, the stuff contains: Caramel Color, Phosphoric acid, Aspartame, Potassium Benzoate, Caffeine, Natural flavor, Acesulfame potassium, Citric acid, Calcium disodium EDTA Panax ginseng extract.

It's probably about 99% water, though.

All I know is that I'll never buy it because first of all, it has caffeine and I only drink decaffeinated soda, but also because of the direction Pepsi has chosen to take with their obnoxious, sh*tbag "urban music" commercials.

The fact that they've chosen to hijack and destroy one of the earliest song memories of my youth just makes it worse.

Screw Pepsi. I'm done with them.

Mick J is probably perfectly happy with it because 

a) he probably got paid handsomely for its use

b) it exposes his old music and his band to the new generation

c) it makes him appear to still be musically relevant
