I have held off on posting this for a few weeks now, because I was hoping to find some more info that would make me more confident in the accuracy of it.

Since it was first observed or pointed out that Pa hadn't been around in quite awhile, I've been scouring the internet for information on him, using his real name.

I've searched public records and people finder websites for whichever free information they provide, as well as official local government county clerks of court websites in areas where I know he lived most recently, for anything related to him, all to no avail.

There is info about his past residences, phone numbers, relatives etc, but nothing that would give any insight as to his current status.

However....

There is one site that has the following statement....

Quote

B**** W****** C*******
Deceased at age of 62 in 2019

And.....

According to our latest records, B**** W****** C******* is 62 years old but according to our records was deceased as of 10/12/2019 and born in Feb 1957.

Normally, I would take that with a somewhat larger grain of salt than I do, but the date they show is just one day after Pa's last post here.

That seems like too much of a coincidence to not be accurate.

Sadly I think we who were Pa's friends here need to accept the idea that our old buddy and "Hoary Ol Chestnut.... doncha know...." PaWolf is no longer alive.

I hope that I'm wrong and that I find out he decided to move to Alaska and mine for gold or something, but until I find out otherwise, I guess I just have to say "So long old pal. Hope everything is fine and the Molson's is cold and plentiful wherever you are now".

RIP(?) PaWolf. Cry

I keep hoping he'll be like Mark Twain, show up and say "the reports of my death are greatly exaggerated".

I guess I'm convinced. Oh, well.

RIP, Pa.

But if this isn't true, you got a lotta 'splainin' to do. Oh, never mind. If you came back to CIH and tried to explain, it'd probably be indecipherable, anyway.

Pa's posts were always such a chore to read, I just didn't even bother after awhile.

Same here, but I enjoyed having him around.

But yeah, I agree with you.

I think he fancied himself a writer. But if people don't read your stuff, you can't be a very good one. That's kinda what made him seem crazy. We told him many times how cryptic his posts were, yet he continued with that same "style".

We old guys can be stubborn and set in our ways.

Maybe that was the way he talked.

Or maybe he had a couple of screws loose. Wacko

I wish he was still here, though.

He livened the place up.

Yeah, I thought about that.

When it first made the news that Prine had died, I wondered what Pa would've had to say about it.

If it's indeed true, then R.I.P. PaW.

I've looked through his posts before. He was quite the character.

I'm guessing his passing might have been sudden if he was still posting a day before his death.

The other user I'm wondering about is Ad Nauseous, as he seemed to stopped coming here suddenly too.

DF, I was searching for pics of Pa in the old "CIH member and family photos" thread when I ran across a pic of you dressed in all black.

I responded to the post with "Let's get a shine on those shoes, Dark Daddy"

To which you replied "Yeah, they are getting a little dull" or something to that effect.

Anyway, nice to hear from you again.

And RIP PaWolf.

This news has really upset me. He was only 62??? sh*t man that's young. Love and good thoughts to his children who he gloated about. Man, both parents gone at relatively young ages. Peace and love to them.

According to pawolf himself, she had a stroke. I hadn't been posting for awhile and I came across a post where pa had referred to her in the past tense and he confirmed she had passed by stroke. Man.. so sad.

Pa occasionally posted these funny, posed-for pics in which he made himself the butt of the joke.

I remembered one in particular that I wanted to repost here but I couldn't find it in any of my saved image files, so I did a Google image search of CIH pics and came across these gems, with the one I was looking for (cheap white bread) last.

I'll post the same name Pa titled each one with.....

Pain Tears CLOSED

Wishful thinking

Pa in the Cooler

Preaching from the podium

Idiot

Untitled.

This was one of Pa's vacation/sightseeing pics where he posed on an old colonial era cistern as if he was using it as a toilet. I added the word balloon that said something about having had burritos for breakfast or something. I can't find the original (without my addition) because it's been taken down.

PaW in Homer Land.

Messed up pixels in the foreground notwithstanding, that is Pa posing as a passed out drunk in some Homer Simpson themed attraction in God knows where.

PaWolf in backyard.

Pa occasionally said that Niagara Falls was his "backyard". In the accompanying post, he claimed something to the effect of... "this is what happens when you let women do your plumbing repairs".

And finally, my favorite one and the one that I was looking for when I found the others....

White - cheap (cheap white bread)

LOL

Funny stuff.

I wish now that I'd recognized these pics for being as witty and funny as they are and told him as much.

So long Pa.

Good to know ye.

Your fellow CIH'er and friend-

"Ol' Mule".

Top Ramen, maybe.  LOL

I effin' L♥VE ramen noodles sooooo much.

Damn shame I can't eat them anymore.

Stinkin' carbohydrates!!!!

I used to love them till one day, I decided it might be good to mix powdered mashed potatoes and peas into the Ramen.  It wasn't.  Totally gross.  After that, they kinda lost their appeal.

Nowadays, I avoid the stuff due to the sodium content.  Plus, the noodles are supposed to be really bad for one's health (not that that ever stopped me before).

I still love Ramen noodles and I'm having some spicy Mexican ones right now...with an egg stirred and boiled in.
The AfgyPup's PTSD must be subsiding a bit as he tells me he pretty much has dropped Ramen noodles, which were one of his basic staples. He washes the noodles really well before boiling them, something I asked him about. He said the Afgy-version of Ramen noodles are often made pretty close to latrines.
