HeartFor Heaven's Sake - aren't they just TOO CUTE?!

Here we have Mary Poopins (Julie Andrews) herself, waking up all those cute lil'chilluns at the nursery sh*tfest.Dead How many of you CIH ladies would love to just pick each one up and squeeze the cuteness right out of them? How many of you remember that when a baby that age smiles like that it is because they just 'lightened their load'? How many of you would like to change ALL the babies in that commercial, one right after the other? Won't YOU feel pretty, afterwards?!

I've only had to change a diaper once.  I was babysitting for a friend who had to run an errand, and was gone about an hour.  And of course maybe 10-15 minutes after he left the 20 month old just had to drop a deuce into his diaper.

I'd like to see a similar Depends commercial, starring a bunch of bedraggled and incontinent seniors in a nursing home.  How cute would that be?

WinkOur one GranPup lives 2500 miles away, so diaper duty belongs to the cutie booty and doofy daddy.
MissyDWolf *loves* to help; absolutely loves baby spermmistakes. I think they are cute from a distance, best viewed in photographs.

I know I'm supposed to find this ad cute, but I don't. Oh har har the toddlers have messed up hair while playing a song called "I feel pretty". Bonus points for taking the gay reference out ::eye roll::.
It's ok, I'm in marketing!

Confused...uh...HD? WHAT 'Gay Reference'? Seriously -  don't see it (the song comes from roughly 1965, sung by Julie Andrews, for the classic family movie, 'Mary Poppins')

I think the song's from West Side Story, Pa.  And isn't that play entirely gay?

You're CORRECT about 'West Side Story'.
Maybe the SanFruitciscan-version is all 'happy-gay-lucky' an' whatnot, but the ORIGINAL story is about inner-city New York gangs.
Dunno.
Could've been the 'Fruits' versus the 'Nuts'.

They're referring to the line "I feel Pretty and witty and Bright" which, in the movie version with Natalie Wood, was "Pretty and Witty and Gay"

The original broadway version, if I recall correctly, uses Bright, NOT gay, so therefore the 'incorrect' version would be the movie one :P

Disgusting pedo-pat at 0:12. I am sickened by Pampers' embrace of child molestation with this commercial.

Disgusting misuse of paedo to refer to what is clearly INFANTOPHILIA. I am sickened by MarioBalotelli's embrace of improper use of Gree-tin (Greek/Latin) terms referencing sexual deviancies in regard to this commercial.

Dirty diapers just don't bother me.  I suppose I'm desensitized to the whole "matter" after the two tiny ambrosias, followed by years of working in assisted living homes for the handicapped as well as a nursing home.  What does bother me is the insinuation that all children live in a wind tunnel and their hair is a hot mess!

Incidentally, I love the song "I feel pretty".  I even had it as my ring tone on my phone for awhile Smile

Well, it's "about inner-city New York gangs" as interpreted via the song-and-dance routines of a Broadway musical.  So, by definition...

They're disposable plastic baby toilets for Christ sakes, not diamond rings -- why o why do we even need commercials for diapers (or any other products designed to absorb micturition for that matter)?
ConfusedOuchConfused

At least they get a few points for not showing "the blue liquid". LOL

I don't believe I've ever heard the bright version, I have only heard the gay version. I hate how any older songs that use the word gay for happy get changed to something else. What's up with that? Are you trying not to offend gay people? It seems like changing the reference is more offensive.

The point remains. The degenerate baby-touchers in this commercial must be brought to justice and never be able to see children again. Our kids must be given a safe environment from these fiends.

Apparently Mary Poppins (the movie) was set in the early 1910's.  Too bad.  A decade or so earlier and it could have been set in The Gay 90's....  LOL

ConfusedI was actually waiting on your torpedoed-version of the song, WITH fancy lil-musical notes there, Ang...
Figured it would go something like this....
"I feel shiitty, I feel shiity, Not pretty, less shiity and Liiight..."...

ConfusedI dunno, I'm not good at that kind of thing - YOU are the 'master', here.
