I just saw a commercial for the Necky.  It looks like the same people who made the Snuggie have come up with yet another gem.
 
This ridiculous thing is basically a fleece bib that is supposed to replace a scarf.  Whereas a scarf doesn't make you look like a complete baffoon, this thing does.
 
Yes, it looks okay when you are wearing a coat that is buttoned up but as soon as you take the coat off or unbutton yourself people will be able to see that you are wearing what amounts to a dickie.
 
If I saw a grown man wearing this stupid thing I would laugh at them.  What adult wants to wear a bib. There is nothing wrong with a regular scarf so I really don't see the need for this money waster.

What did I do wrong when adding the video?  I tried to follow the directions but I'm not too swift when it comes to that kind of stuff.

Even worse...the video was removed for a "terms of use violation"???
 
So, someone posts the commercial for Necky Corp.'s stupid product to Youtube, where it will likely be seen by mega-more people who might buy it--and the company demands it be taken down?

^^^^ That depends on the user. They do look useful for someone working outside, riding a bike/motorcycle in the cold, etc. They look like they protect below the neck so you needn't zip/button your coat all the way up, too.
Someone like that guy in the ad just heading out to his car to go to work...... a pretty pink scarf would probably suffice.

Well, being that using one of those for a robbery would be out of the question, I'd say it will not catch on in 'da hood. Otherwise...Confused a wallet and cell-phone pouch?!!! Yikies! Get pulled over and asked for your i.d. - reach and probably get shot (Public Servant would think you were reaching in your holster).
 
HOWEVER, wrap the neck? A GOOD thing for those of us that go ICE BIKING, up here in the GWN!Big%20smile
 
Stylish? uh...sorry, not that kinda guy...   
 
I couldn't give this a Thumbs%20Up, nor could I necessarily give it a Thumbs%20Down, but, well...yea - like Tizzer says - chances are they sell more 'pink' ones...
