This is my other grandmother, the one who I have not been taking care of... And the one who actually liked me and that I got along with.

She evidently had blood clots in her lungs and just went to the hospital last week because my aunts were finally able to force her to. She was passing out because evidently her intestines were filling up with blood. She spent so much time taking care of everybody else that she didn't bother to take care of herself. Cry

I just really wish I had been able to spend more time with her recently instead of being stuck here taking care of my other grandmother, who hates me. AngryCry I really wish she had taken better care of herself.

My prayers and thoughts are with you, it's always so hard to see special loved ones depart.

I miss both of my Grandmum's, they're both long gone, but each are deeply imprinted on my soul.

Peace,luv!

I'm so sorry.  I wish you strength to get through this difficult time.  I hope that after the pain and sadness fades you will be comforted by happy memories of her.  My sincerest condolences.

Yutolia,

Take care and relish the times you had with her.

My grandmother saw all three of her children die, my mom included.  But, she continued to forge ahead and take care of us.  She relished the caretaker role as it sounds like your grandmother did.  Bless them.

I never knew one of my grandmom much, she passed away when I was a young one. The other passed away last winter at 98. She was the last of us kid's parents & grandparents.
Even though you're "stuck" tending to one that hates you, she is family.
Enjoy them while you can.Approve

I'm so sorry to hear this, I've lost a few people very close to me in the past couple of years and the only thing I can say is that as long as she's well remembered she will continue to live on in your heart.

Oh Yutolia, I just saw this today. You have my deepest sympathies. Remember and cherish all those happy times. I never knew either of my Biological Grandmas, but the Grandma I have known all my life (Grandpa remarried) is still with us at 92 years old. I love her and hate to see her slowing down.

I share your pain my dear.  This is the time of year that I most miss my beloved late grandmother that raised me.  She has been gone for 16 years and it never gets any easier.  My best thoughts are with you and hang in there.
