Good article.  I watched about 15 minutes of the show.  That was all I needed.  Horrible child, horrible family.

But I'm not one of the people who think TLC is toT'L Crap, as the author is.  Yesterday, I watched a few episodes of a show about Amish teens who've left the religion (and one "English" girl---that's what they call the non-Amish---who wanted to become Amish).  It wasn't trashy at all.  Pretty interesting.

Cry...please, oh please NEVER show me that again, BM.
Now I'll probably have nightmares about having an illegitimate child as a result of a bad night while on shore leave in Singapore coming back to dance for me in a pink tutu when I never asked for it.
And, well...Yea, it will be 'Honey Boo-Boo'.

I'll probably wake up relieved knowing I never was in the Navy, never been to Singapore, and usually have awfully good nights, never with an inbred white cow that would produce such a critter. Certainly, life will be better, birdies a'chirpin', sun shining in my window.
But she'll still be there - that's my luck.
She will be dancing for me in that stinkin' tutu and talkin' 'Sesame Street Trailer Trash Lingo'.
She'll call me 'Daddy'.
Cry
Even though I know it is impossible for that to be true, with my luck, the 'Big Guy Above' would probably make it so just to drive me nuts and get a laugh at my expense. Those kind of things happen all the time.

in any sane society, this b!tch would be arrested for child abuse and exploitation, not given a TV show.  That kid has NO chance of a normal life.  All joking aside, when are we, as a society, going to stop rewarding deplorable behavior?

Big pink puff.

And she's no better with the hair and makeup and fancy dress than she is without it.  She went from Sasquatch to Sasquatch Deluxe.  It's like putting whitewall tires on a Mack truck.

Why do Americans realize that shows like this are stupid, mindless crap...but then watch them anyway, for precisely that reason?
I hate 'reality TV', and therefore don't watch it.
IMO, everyone who complains about shows like this, but watches anyway, is part of the problem.

As odd as it may seem, I actually think he could've done better than Mama Boo Boo.

In fact, I think the pig would've been a better choice...that is, the one in his arms.  At least he can wrap his arms around that one.

ShockedCry....gee, Thanks Big Momma.

I read this thread before going to bed, then dremt I was dead.
And there they floated over my head:
Honey Boo Boo and Mama Cow Poo Poo
Both wearing a pink tutu
It made me not well
I knew I was in Hell
But, like Dante, I rose from below
Opened my eyes, doncha know
In a 'cold sweat' as one could bet
I raced for the shower and rinsed for an hour
To get rid of the brine - a result of dreaming of those inbred swine.

Cry
Fini
~~~
Now...I hope that paints ya a pic of 'PaWolf's Inferno' there, BM.
I'm certain this sequel to Dante Alighieri's great classic will be a huge hit and is destined for the 'big screen'; a 'Boo Boo'-sized screen, doncha know (think we'll pass on the '3D', though).
