I went to the Yardhouse Restaurant and had....

Fried Calamari. Roughly $7
20 ounce Bone Rib eye Steak with Truffle Fries and Broccoli. Roughly $39.
Coca Cola glass. Roughly $4.
Brookie with ice cream, caramel, and whipped cream and powdered sugar. Roughly $10.

With tax and tip, it was about $75. I had a $20 credit, so I paid about $55 out of pocket.

Red Lobster.

Surf And Turf(NY Strip Steak and Lobster Tail with fries). Roughly $36.
The Sampler(Three different appetizers) Roughly $10.
Mai Tai drink. Roughly $8.
Chocolate Wave Cake. Roughly $5.

With tax and tip, I spent about $75.

What about you? :)
My name is Donathan, pronounced the same way you pronounce Jonathan, except with a D. :D $608 for her brother's scooter. Fair is fair my ass. Being tough on Public Access TV is priceless.

An order of mechanically separated chicken would've been much cheaper.

I'm sure Donathan will appreciate the reference and that you remembered.

I've been annoyed even when I've gone to moderately expensive restaurants. No meal is worth more than $15-20 to me. More than that, and I feel I've been ripped off, especially considering I usually order pasta.

Plus, I hate waiter/waitress service. The more attentive, the more I hate it. I just don't like being served.

We were at a turf conference in Columbus, Ohio. I ordered a surf and turf and my boss warned me about spending too much money on his expense account.

Surf and turf?

I've never even once ordered a steak in a restaurant. I mean, it's not that I don't like it; it's just that it's never been something I ever craved.

When I was young, I thought shrimp cocktail was something that only the wealthy ate. I don't think I ever had it until I was in my late teens, probably at a wedding or something.

I've had steak at various steak houses including Longhorn once.

Longhorn is good.

But when I used to eat steak, I usually grilled it myself.

You know when the menu says- Market Price.  It's going to be expensive.

I've seen menus at expensive restaurants that just say 50 underneath the description. Not $50 or $50.00. Just 50. Maybe they think the "$" looks low class.

There's a few expensive meals I've had, not sure exactly the most expensive.

Red Lobster just seems to get more and more expensive.
