Leonard Cohen, who by death, 82.
Loved a lot of this guy's work. "Who By Fire"
And who by fire, who by water, who in the sunshine, who in the night time, who by high ordeal, who by common trial, who in your merry merry month of may, who by very slow decay, and who shall I say is calling? And who in her lonely slip, who by barbiturate, who in these realms of love, who by something blunt, and who by avalanche, who by powder, who for his greed, who for his hunger, and who shall I say is calling? And who by brave assent, who by accident, who in solitude, who in this mirror, who by his lady's command, who by his own hand, who in mortal chains, who in power, and who shall I say is calling? |

This might be his most well-known song (from the 60s). He also did the theme to Natural Born Killers (from the 90s). |

...long-time fan, much as Thor, 'cept maybe a little more violent.'The Future' is simply one o'my themes to live, short of killing along the way (now, that's a no-no)
...but, my opinion? His best was here - one that has been covered so many times so well...this was my personal favorite cover.

RIP Leonard. A true legend.
Kate McKinnon did a tribute to Leonard Cohen on SNL last Saturday, playing Hallelujah on the piano. She played really well!

And with her being the one who does Hillary Clinton on the show, and it being right after her defeat, the song took on a kind of double meaning especially with her little spoken message at the end. I didnt know she was a good pianist and singer. |
