I finally got my truck washed.  I tried one last time here in town before I went to the big O.  THEY FIXED IT!!

The truck looks better but now it has a coating of ice, I opened the drivers side window before it froze up.

I can't seem to back into my driveway without my rear view mirrors.  They were iced up, the truck has a rear facing camera that pops up on the screen when I put it in reverse.  I think it has heated mirrors, I may have to crack open the owners manual, again!

Sounds like a complicated piece of machinery.

I'd like to have another pickup truck.

Something on the smaller side, though.

My truck was (is) an '83 Nissan standard pickup.

It's been sitting in my driveway rusting out.

The other day, I finally got around to stripping several small interior and exterior parts off of it and possibly this week or next, I plan to call a cash for junk cars place to come out and haul it off.

If I can get $200 for it, I'll be happy.

Plus, I'll get my driveway back.

I have been in touch with my older sister, her and her husband have a 14 acre ranch and horse farm just south of Bloomington, Indiana. They are pissed off because some builder wants to turn the property around theirs into suburban homes, condos and apartments.

Interesting:

Quote As detailed on the F150gen14.com forum, a user in the lower half of Texas says they lost power for three days; while neighbors set up a conventional backup generator to keep their critical home functions rolling, this forum poster busted out their 2021 Ford F-150 Platinum PowerBoost Hybrid. Using the onboard power-supply setup—which is powered by both the batteries and the engine—as a generator, the owner ran extension cords from the pickup to their kitchen to power a few lights, a toaster oven, a space heater, and the fridge.

It sounds as though the F-150 went above and beyond the call of basic duty, also powering a 75-inch TV, a coffee maker, and a freezer for "10-12 hours per day." Keep in mind, temperatures in the area were hovering in the teens during most of this time. The Ford owner says the F-150's hybrid powertrain only chewed through a few gallons of gasoline during this period and noted how the engine would come on and turn off periodically to keep the batteries onboard juiced up. The setup proved quieter than the neighbors' traditional portable generator, according to the user, and thanks to the truck's much larger fuel tank, didn't need to be refueled at least twice per day.

I was just outside cleaning the snow off of my truck. The neighbors had some person come over to take care of the dog, I suppose.  Anyway, I hear her start cussing because the dog got away from her.  LOL  I see the dog tearing across the lawn away from both of us.

We're finally getting back to slightly warmer weather, but it won't be without some wind and falling temperatures today.

It is a beautiful and WARM day in the neighborhood.  43 degrees! Could it be a sign of Spring?  With my driving and the warmer temperatures, the low tire warning turned itself off.

It's 41 where I'm at. March is coming in a matter of days, so hopefully.
