Maybe it's not really quiet in here.

Maybe you should be saying....

I changed the background on my monitor.  Leah always loved her toys.  Yes, even the pink snake! Embarrassed
We bought her this big yellow bear and she would hump it when I pulled down the hall.  LOL  She was a female!  LOL  I miss them both so much!

I didn't have to go out today. My truck is clean and the road to my house is like the Sippy hole at the Swamp Races in Florida.  What did I get done today?  I did do the laundry, I should have taken a shower. My face is getting furry.  I'm still in my robe, I may not even get dressed today!

It's unseasonably warm here today.

Partly sunny, partly cloudy.

I might get off my ass, pump up my bike tires and go for a bike ride.

Need to wash and cut my hair and trim my whiskers first, though.

That sounds exhausting. I went from laying in bed all night to laying on the couch all morning. Maybe tomorrow I'll do laundry or something.

It's raining today. I'm guessing it's washing away some of the month's 3 feet of snow. I'd like to see for sure, but that'd require I get off the couch. Too exhausting.

I never understood why people sign up and then don't post.

The only thing I can guess is so that they can read the topics that are only open to members.

Leah?  Leah the wonder dog. The ex's and my German Shepherd dog.  I got the name from my high school days.  My best friend was dating Leah Rinker, from the famed 'Rinkerbuilt' line of boats. She was such a sweetheart! Being friends with Mike came with some benefits, all of these hot young women automatically treated me real nice. Grabbing my arm and holding it against their young perky tit while walking down the hall at school.

Wow.

Forgot all about that song.

What was that.... mid 80's?

EDIT: Just checked Wikipedia. It was released in 1980.

I was reading about him.

He had several hits. He was part of that group who did "Play That Funky Music White Boy".

During my Jr. High and early High School days, we had this place called 'Palace of Sweets' within walking distance of the school.  A good place to hang out with friends before any athletic events that afternoon or evening.  They had this HUGE combination of ice cream and other goodies that was more than one person could consume. It was expensive for the time.  The store would turn off the lights, turn on a siren and the waitress would deliver it to the table.  They had great fries too!  This was always on the Jukebox.

A friend asked me a few years ago "If a martian came down and asked you what rock and roll music was, what song would you play for him?".

I said that one, R+R Hoochie Koo.

Yeah, that was one of my favorite songs in 10th grade.

Really takes me back every time I hear it.

I usually enjoy the live version of the song, this is the one that made the airwaves...

I took a leak next to him at a show in NY once. David Johansen was on the other side. It was in the bathroom of the Palladium in NYC, at a Ramones show in 1978.

I shoulda taken a peek at both of them, so I'd have something more to report on. Shoulda, woulda, coulda. Missed opportunities.

You should've reached over and grabbed it.

Ya never know.... you two might've become a tabloid item.
