I consider myself to be a true cat person and I only knew 7 or 8 of these:

A new study finds that people who are chipper & happy live longer. Which is surprising because people who aren't chipper & happy want to kill people who are always chipper & happy. David Letterman

I know maybe 12 or 13.  Many seem to be newer cartoon cats.  But if you're familiar with Top Cat from the early 60s, you'll see that his entire entourage of cat friends is there.  That would account for maybe 4 or 5 of the cats pictured.

MIA are Punkin' Puss, Courageous Cat, Krazy Kat, Fritz the Cat and Snagglepuss.  Also, the Pink Panther, though I don't know if that's the kind of cat they were going for.

Kitty White, Sylvester, Doraemon, Chesire Cat, Garfield, Memow (WOO, Adventure Time gets a mention!), Meowth, Catbus from Totoro, Scratchy, and Felix.

Funny how I know most of the Japanese cats...though technically, I wouldn't have counted Doraemon as he's actually a robot.

EDIT: Can't believe I missed Cake after getting Memow XD

He's not an animated cartoon, but he's still a cartoon cat:

^  Wow.  I forgot about him.  Like Fritz, from the era of "underground" comics.

Stimpy.

After that, none. Homey's life changed when I grew up and quit watching cartoons, except for 'Ren & Stimpy'.
