In the Philadelphia area there is a car dealer named Chapman that has horrible ads featuring three salesmen chatting about the benefits of purchasing a car from their dealership. The ads end with a vintage ad clip from many years ago ( perhaps the 1970's) with the founder of Chapman. The accents by all of the men in their ads are very heavy Philadelphian. If you're not from that region of the country, those accents grate like chalk on a blackboard!

This is the worst of the local commercials.  TWC, enough said.

Again, from the Philadelphia area, there is an auto dealer name McCafferty that features the owner ( a very homely looking bald headed chap with a huge dap between his teeth) who is sitting in a barber chair with a bad wig on his bald head, pretending to be a child getting a haircut.
Why don't these twits from Philadelphia stop trying to make their own commercials with their weird sense of humour?

Who was that fartknocker who screamed his head off while busting washing machines? Something like Crazy Eddie?

I believe that this advert only played in the Seattle area...and I think that it played sometime in the mid-1980s.

Easily one of my most hated commercials at all!!! AngryDeadAngry

This is one of several, and way too many, "Deal Busters" commercials, every one ending with Mr. Roid Rage yelling:

There's a car dealer here (MA) called Commonwealth Motors; their ads are all pretty cheesy.  They actually have an entire YT channel.

I've seen far worse than that one... Bob's of Milford in Connecticut.

They used to have this company here called Rockaway Bedding that had the WORST jingle! Some cheap Ramones wannabe sounding crap. You could hear some of it in this old ad.

Then, of course, there's this.

What more can I say?

This one is local to me, and features a starting pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds. This version only aired late at night.

Here's one that drives me up the wall.  The 30-second spot wasn't posted on YouTube, but it's basically 30 seconds of this spliced together.

Granted, it looks well-produced, and I like the whole driving around Austin theme, but the singing/rapping drives me nuts.  I'm not sure what it is about it, but I can't take it after five seconds.  Maybe it's the fact that it's a mom rapping about domestic duties, and she's apparently trying to make driving in a Fiat cool.  I didn't know those little munchkin cars started taking the place of luxury cars in rap videos.

^^ Ughh I watched 30 seconds and that was more than enough for me.  All I can say now is thankfully I'm not close enough to Austin to get their local ads.  Houston's are gut-wrenching enough.  Here's 3+ minutes worth of local commercials over the years, but mainly I'm posting it for the first one for Hilton Furniture.  Bear in mind this was before commercials' volumes were allowed to be louder than normal.  And this one was so you got the triple whammy ... the loud chainsaw and him talking loudly over it at a louder volume than the program you were watching.  Made you wanna take that chainsaw from him and shove it up his backside Angry

ConfusedOnly in NYC could this happen...

It has not been approved yet (suspect August, 2013), but this might provide an idea of what our New York 'Neighbors of Lucifer' will see.

I live in (extreme) Upstate NY, and up here we have a mattress chain that's family-owned. Their commercials always end in this very low-pitched "and loooow priiiceess" with the owner's son lip syncing to it so it's all "oh look how funny that little boy has a deep voice! haha!". Only now he's a teenager, so he tries to do the low voice thing himself... and it's somehow even worse now.

This one will bring back that memory you'd thought you repressed from when you were 3 and had to sit on creepy Santa's lap at the mall. You didn't dream it, he's real. And he makes house calls.

WinkOne simply cannot dislike the company that brought 'The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show' on 'local  ommercial-free' t.v., on Thursday evenings (and thanks to the miracles of fiber, 'local' spans miles and kilometers!')

I think Orlando is the horrible local commercial capital of the US.

We regularly suffer through a new series of these ads for a rinky-dink local amusement park called "Fun Spot".

The most recent incarnation was inspired by, well you watch it & see if you can guess:

Haven't seen these for quite awhile, thank God...

Yeah, the guy's voice is what always irritated me the most.

And that particular ad, is not even the worst example of it.

We have worse commercials than those two, but I couldn't find them on YT.
