Same to all of you! My family did our years-old tradition of following the time zones from Central (no Eastern, I was still at work) to Pacific, watching different celebrations along the way. Lone Star NYE (Dallas, KXAS) blew us away this year!! Loved the fireworks-drone hybrid. Video from a spectator here, and I'm sure the KXAS video will show up soon enough. That broadcast is syndicated to over 30 stations in five CT zone states - TX/OK/KS/AR/LA.

Then we watched the 'glowing' giant potato drop from Boise (via KTVB) and ended with the Space Needle on KING 5 in Seattle. The fireworks were so smoky that you couldn't see much. Too bad.

Great to see Brooks & Dunn, Zac Brown Band, and Darius Rucker on the CBS Nashville show. That must have been a lot of fun for the fans! Darius even sang some old Hootie and the Blowfish songs. Steve Miller also appeared, and goodness he has aged...I had no idea he was 79. We flipped to local celebrations around 10min 'til CT/MT/PT midnight.
Back after a long absence...still hating those commercials. Go away Limu Emu and Doug!
