Well, they have done away with the migrant maniac, Mini Mo. Thank God for small favors!
They are adding a touch of class with this dude who is SO responsible that he WILL NOT drive his car without insurance! Yeah, right!
There is only one winner in the insurance game, the freaking insurance companies!

Am I supposed to feel sorry for these losers who don't know how to budget their money to be able to afford car insurance? If you can afford a car, you can afford car insurance. If you can afford to have (another) baby you can afford car insurance.
Isn't depicting all these loser mamas and the dad as being black kind of racist? Why are all the people in these ads black? Is that their target audience?

Makes you wonder what kind of discussions they might've had about naming the company Good2GoBro.
Or possibly even Good2GoDawg. |

They do target the...shall we say, financially challenged?
There are plenty of white people that live below the poverty line. Like this skank insurance fraud broad!

I never understood Mini Mo. He looked like that Pauly D d0uchebag from MTV Jersey Shore, but had a voice of a black man. Yeah, this guy looks like a real d-ck! |

My guess is that they wanted to appeal to black guys without opening themselves up to charges of racism, so they just made him sort of generally "ethnic looking". |

I checked out their rates once.
Much more expensive than my current company, Progressive. I think they are basically like the car insurance version of those buy-here-pay-here used car lots or rent-to-own furniture and electronics places. Payday loans, etc. The attraction is that you can pay very little up front and stretch the monthly premiums out longer, though you end up paying more in the long run. But you can walk out the door with insurance. Typical of the way these businesses exploit the poor. |

^ Thus, buyer beware. You need to know what you're getting into and, if the T+C are unacceptable to you, plan accordingly. If the T+C are okay with you, Go 4 It.
But I've known people who flip cars---never keep them around long. They get them at auction, work on them, and then sell them. Maybe a monthly premium is all they need. Or maybe these people don't insure their temporary vehicles at all. In some states, though, insurance is required as part of registering the car. |

Since my car insurance policy expires in 6 days I was shopping around for Insurance, I currently have Travelers and it was a decent deal 3 years ago, but like any darn policy the price goes up and up each year. I pay for one year coverage...I like it, I pay and don't have to worry about it for 12 months.
As much as I hate Progressive, yeah they would save me about $150 bucks...IF the rate after their 6 month term stayed the same, which I highly doubt it would. It would be another $100 off if I decided to have them stick that stupid monitoring intrusive "Snapshot" in my car. The homeowners insurance was $50 bucks off. The goofy "Snapshot" - it says they do not track my speed, but a sudden stop, a hard brake would trigger an "alert" - Well, what if the hard braking is not my fault, like yesterday when some moron turned left about 300 ft in front of me!?? By October when I get quoted again, I may end up breaking even with my current Travelers Insurance, heck I might be paying more, it's a stupid gamble and I'm not willing to play. I didn't even bother with Good2Go, or something like Safe Auto, or Cure, I heard these companies are just plain terrible! |

No claims, no accidents, no tickets and excellent credit ratings yet it still went up with Am Fam.
I switched to Allstate about 6 months ago.

Nope, I don't even believe a good driving record, no tickets since 1998. Bills always paid on time, credit score is good matters anymore with these scum sucking insurance companies. Whatever, you can win. It literally "pays to be legal." - paying by taking it up the you know what.
Just have to look on the bright side I guess, if I lived a few miles south in the city of Philadelphia limits, my insurance would be 2, maybe 3 times more. |

It might be cheaper to take the bus and subway. Save your money on a car and expenses and take a great vacation instead!

If we had better mass transit around here I'd consider it.
As it is now, I have to walk a good way to a bus stop then go to the main terminal to change busses and spend a lot of time waiting. Going grocery shopping would be impossible. |

We could probably get by with just one vehicle but it would be impossible to live here without one.

I'd have to pay extra to have my groceries delivered.
Other shopping would have to be largely online then wait for delivery. It could be done, but it would be highly inconvenient. And given that I don't make car payments and my insurance is the minimum legal requirement plus bodily injury liability, the amount of money I'd save wouldn't be all that much. But for a single person with a car payment who doesn't have to commute to work, it would be worth considering. I may end up doing it someday. |

We just dropped off the wife's Edge, a vibration in the driveline. 96,000 miles on that beast.
Have not heard back from them.
I am faced with making $1970 get us through an entire month, sounds simple, right?

And how many people (it looks like NYC) can afford to drive a car in a big city? |
