I'm totally on board with alligators eating some of these dumbass "real people" and, hopefully, Potch as well.

I love how people are so fascinated by all this new-fedangled technology in cars that they don't even notice anything else. Hope that Equinox doesn't have head gasket problems otherwise it may be a standoff between drippy people and the gators, who can hold out the longest?

I remember the good old days when the commercials would proudly display the City/Highway MPG stats. Now they don't want you to know what a gas guzzler you're buying, just as long as you look cool and have a great stereo system, computer and cupholder.

So well said! Seems like this generation has been 'dumbed down' to the point this is all they need to know to make an 'informed' (NOT 'intelligent') decision.

Better idea for this commercial...
...they guy runs-over all the alligators. Then we see this note... Dear General Motors, I'm now boycotting all your cars since you ran-over all those alligators! What have they done to you? You have no care about animals whatsoever...you know better than that. Shame on you! Signed Someone from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) Dear General Motors, That was amazing on how you made those alligators pay for all that sh*t they've done to you! I have a recipe for a great alligator bites. Signed Someone from PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals)

You guys are absolutely right! It's all about the infotainment systems now rather than the actual vehicle. When I bought my Malibu, I did some research on it rather than just basing my opinion on driving one a few times and liking it. The internet can be a fantastic tool for learning about your vehicle choice and seeing potential problems or problems other owners are having to determine if you really want to buy that model or go with something else. Many other people like these dolts look at the screen with awe "Uhhhh, it's glowing! :D"
