I absolutely hate these damn commercials advertising "Nutrisystem". They go on and on about weight loss, the commercial seems like its five-minutes long. They actually had someone say "My wife says I'm not as disgusting anymore!" Wow. "EAT HOTDOGS, BURGERS, EVEN PASTA!" DAMN! I didnt know I couldnt already do that! I must be living under a rock.

What probably pisses me off most is that it gets shown so damn frequently. Some commercials its like you see it every commercial break and sometimes twice per break! Its like they're shoving Nutrisystem down your throat and with 30 types of commercials with 60 actors. They even have Larry the Cable Guy in one of them now! I dont dislike him, but these commercials are getting ridiculous.

Yeah, I hate those ads. A bunch of crappola food you have to pay to get delivered, fad diet. How about the one with that sports "babe" from tv, what's up with her lines... "I know I'm not like other girls. I love sports!" *catches football* "Football. How many girls can do that?" What does that even mean? "Football. How many girls can do that?". Whatever, shaddup and go back to your fad diet fake delivery junk, Miss So Different.

And, if you're female, you can even eat "CHAWKLIT!"(After all, only women eat "chawklit.")

I'm female, but you couldn't pay me enough to eat the dogsh*t that they probably pass off as "chawklit."

Someone I work with is on MetLife? - same kind of pre-mesured crap food diet. All of the food is powdered. The thought of mixing up powdered scrambled eggs, I just find revolting.

It's something like that - I can't remember the name.

In fact, MetLife is my dental plan.

They can call it anything they want - it all looks like cah cah to me.

From what I've seen of the Nutrisystem ads, the people following the diet lost brain cells as well as fat. The most recent female 'face', the one with bleached blonde hair, couldn't look more dead-behind-the-eyes.

Could have been MetRx, too.  I think that's all powder.  Metabolife (at least when I tried it) was just a pill.

I once worked with a woman who was truly demented.  She was a loud-mouthed, crass, pathological liar and everyone disliked her. *   She ordered a whole bunch of this nutrisystem crap food and stored it under her desk.  Over one weekend, some office mice got into it and shredded the packages and left most of the "food".  All dehydrated junk.   It was too funny!  LOLLOLLOLLOL

That chick does the news and weather in LA and she is WAY worse on a daily basis. You should see some of the things she wears to work. Our poor youth...

Nutrisystems.....I've tried it and it does work if you follow the menu, but you can buy the same calorie and fat content meals by getting budget goumet and healthy choice.  Then you can pocket half the cash to go and load up again when you get off the diet.

Slightly off the topic...

I feel like I beat the system today, too.   Instead of joining the women's gym called "Curves" which offers a 30 minute workout, I picked up a DVD of this: http://www.amazon.com/Leslie-Sansone-Walk-Pounds-Minute/dp/B000CS45KG/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1209346476&sr=1-12  for $3.99 at my local ShopRite.   LOL   And back on the topic of these diets that ship you the food?  Sure...you can save all kinds of money by selecting entrees in the 300 calorie range and having them with salads and veg.   Some people are just not patient enough to stand there reading the labels.   It's all about portions and moving your butt.  I just stopped Atkins and decided to get off the meat wagon and concentrate on fish, beans, nuts, yogurt, vegetables and whole grain bread.  Already I feel better.  Stuffing my colon full of dead animals lost me 20 pounds but I gained it all back within 2 months.  Oh well!  On to my new program!

Thanks "20".  I will also add chicken and eggs to my diet.  Although I won't know which to buy first!  Cool
