Pretty voice but yeah not an even CLOSE representation of Colonel Sanders. I believe I can say they've finally jumped the shark of KFC ads.
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off

I guess once the real thing died, there wasn't much else they could do.

To me, it's all got to do with WHO they've been choosing.

Younger actors/celebrities who look nothing like the kindly old Colonel, made up with special effects.

Don't tell us you couldn't find an older actor who resembles Sanders to make the old fashioned, unobjectionable kind of commercials you used to, KFC.
