Holy tombstone Batman!!!!

Adam West who gained fame in the 1960's playing the role of Batman in the campy TV series of the same name, has died at the age of 88.

@#$&! I was dreading this day! The world seems a little less fun. I only saw him in shows like The Big Bang Theory and Family Guy. He never took himself seriously, which I liked.
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off

The best, and a huge loss. None of those later movies were better, in my opinion, than the classic 1966 film with Adam West. Plus the countless 1960s episodes of Batman. I've got tons of them on VHS, plus the film. RIP Adam West! Cry

Wow....R.I.P. Adam West.
I was a huge fan of Batman. In England we had Doctor Who for our local science fiction, but Batman from the U.S.A. took the great comic book and brought it to life. Adam West was a classy chap, and a great super hero.
I also loved the 1960's movie "Robinson Caruso On Mars", in which he played one of the characters.
