Last Weekend, while I was "Garage Saleing" I asked the host if he had (what else) any videos for sale. He pointed to a box and I found it had five movies on VHS. He said I could have them all for a buck. Four quarters changed hands and I placed the tapes in my scooters "Smuggling Compartment" (The compartment under the seat) and returned home (I couldn't go to anymore sales, because I was FLAT BROKE Embarrassed (Payday is this Monday)!

Fast forward to today. Returning home from my church's annual Family Festival, I decided to watch one of the movies I had purchased last Saturday. Here were my choices:

1. The Andromeda Strain

2. Baker's Hawk

3. Drivin

4. Rocketship X-M

5. (The one I was going to watch!) Meteorites

That's when I noticed two things. First, this Tape was unopened. Second. there was a sticker on it that read "For Distributor Promotional Use Only. Not Foe Sale, Rental, Duplication or Public Performance."

Something told me NOT to open it, so I logged on to "The Big River" to see what copies of this movie were selling for. New unopened copies were selling for a little over $70.00 UP (And there's no mention of the stickers that are on this one)! Shocked

Can't watch this one, (I'm watching Rocketship X-M instead. As for my copy of Meteorites, Considering how valuable  I'm putting it away (It will keep my unopened copies of Speed Racer (Volume Four), The Simpsons Movie and The Disney/Pixar movie Cars company). All have Collectable Miniatures in them (The Mach 5 Car in the first one, Lightning McQueen, Doc Hudson, Fillmore and Mater in the second one and Homer, Marge, Lisa and Bart in the third one).

Checking "The Big River" and "Be in Pig Latin" (That's amazon.com and E-Bay for those of you in Rio Linda! LOL) I spotted unopened copies of Volume Four of Speed Racer going for $15.00 Up, neither mentioned how much the Collectable Versions of The Simpsons movie or Cars are going for. Thumbs Up
