I like the song, could care less for the commercial though.
This and Booker T. And The MGs' "Green Onions" are my favorites! |

I got a laugh out of the bowling alley ad. "Snack bar's closed." Minor quibbles: The first guy kind of overacts his lines, but Snack Bar Closed guy makes up for it. Using the same old rock songs has gotten more than old a long time ago, but then again, it's perfect for this ad. I like the old guy on the motorcycle. Getaway car made me laugh too! So far this new ad campaign is better than the Gecko!!!

...and that's why ya got some ol'peeps around! (although *MY* signature song by the same group will always remain 'On The Road Again') That goes back to my times - Canned Heat -(singing was Alan Wilson, not Bob 'The Bear' Hite) -'Going Up The Country' ...and no, that isn't me on all fours in the sand with a (notice it is steel?) can of beer and who probably ate the wrong mushrooms..l Wilson was the first of the '3 significant deaths of 1970', all of which happened in a 6-week period. Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin were the other two.
