Ouch...now I have a little headache right under the inside of my left eye.
Commercials that are too jerky, jumpy, or flashy drive me nuts - this one took it all and slammed it tigether. All in the name of selling shampoo...just how cool do you need to be to sell shampoo?

Hate it for the insipid 'style'.

also hate the product. Others can make my hair semi-straight/wavy at the worst, every single Garnier product I've ever tried curls my hair in a bad way.

it also smells. Not a bad smell, but excessive...

I've tried many different shampoos over the years.  From cheap-assed Suave to overpriced Pantene.  I also tried the various conditioners.  It never seemed to make a bit of difference.  Now I get whatever's on sale for 78 cents at the supermarket.

I hate Fructis commercials for trying so hard to be "edgy" or "quirky".

I may be jealous because my hair's a rat's nest, but really, whose hair is *that* perfect? If anything, these commercials are about as unrealistic as they come, as though if your hair is dead from the root that if you buy their shampoo it'll be immaculate after every use. Bullocks. I have a hard time believing that it's their "real" hair to be honest.

I use Garnier because my sister insists upon it. It's like washing your hair with body wash; it never feels fully clean after you use it.

Yeah.  Works fine.  But a 78-cent bottle of White Rain Shampoo from FoodMaxx is still cheaper.  'Sides, it's pretty moot---I go through maybe 2 bottles of shampoo/year.

For Halloween once when I was in college, I dressed up like a greaser, using Posner's Pomade to grease my hair.  The stuff was cheap, but it took a week of washing my hair twice/day in Ajax liquid cleanser (taken from the dorm cleaning ladies' supply closet) to get it all out.

The funniest thing about all this "healthy hair" BS is that hair is DEAD TISSUE to begin with. All a strand of hair is, is a shaft of the dead cells extruded from your hair follicles. As the cells die, they are pushed out of the follicle in the form of a hair shaft.

So, it's really impossible to have "healthy hair", because it was dead the instant it became hair. If they'd advertise something that gave you healthy HAIR FOLLICLES, that might be different.

The only thing one shampoo might do better than another, is make the strands of dead tissue hanging off of your head look better.

Yeah, but how big of a bottle do you get? I went to the Dollar Tree & got this huge bottle of dishwashing liquid for a dollar. I could wash my hair everyday for a year on that stuff. HEll, maybe longer. The bottle was so big, I took a smaller bottle that used to contain shampoo & filled it with the dishwashing liquid just beacause it was easier to handle.

^I especially hate people saying "I so need to - like - go to the hair salon. My hair is - like - totally dead."

Me: yes it is dead. If you want your hair to be alive, you should shave down to the follicle and leave it that way.

Nope.

But it does have a nice, crisp, clean citrus-y scent that I prefer over the overly sweet scent of coconut.

I don't know if it's good to use dishwashing liquid on your hair everyday though, as it might strip some of the moisture out of it & make it look sort of straw-like. I don't know. But then again, I don't wash my hair everyday anymore, anyway.

That's one of the nice things about being old & semi retired. You can slack off on your personal hygiene habits & nobody cares because you spend most of your time at home alone anyway.

Although, I hope my cats don't mind me hanging around them with dirty, oily hair.... Ermm

Shocked...I don't use popular 'shampoos' because of THIS:
Is cow urine found in shampoo?

yes, traces of cow urine are used in most popular shampoos. It contains Trinitro-5-Tert-Butyl-M-Xylene which generally adds shine to hair (then again, note my avatar - I'm adding 'extra-special shine' to the human skull. If'n anyone wants any 'Wolfy-Brand Shampoo', just PM me your maling/billing address - your hair will shine like never before, I swear!)

After seeing that commercial, I think I've given up hope that they'll ever make one that doesn't involve a girl hanging out in a field with her friends goofing off and having fun. They've been using that concept for their shampoo commercials for as long as I can remember.

Which will come to a tragic end when they are stung to death by swarms of killer bees attracted by her fruity Fructis hair....  Shocked

Ugh, Garnier commercials have way too many hippie free-spirits. It's nauseating.

Of course I'm a man so I don't know how women feel about their hair.

OuchYou chose to use what used to be a U.S.-made product. Alberto Culver sold out to Unilever (Dutch multi-national organization) and dumped a ton of folks on the streets in the U.S. (especially in Northern Illinois).
I cringe when I even see their products; the sell-off hit my family directly.

ErmmThis very troubling commercial is coming back like a bad haunting.
It gives me the shudders and nightmares all the time.

Can't stand the very end, "...take care!" <click.off.button>
'Ms. Geenus', with her glasses on at about 11-12 seconds in; I think she is looking up, but it also looks like she is cross-eyed...and, at 13 in, what are those people to the left of the chalkboard doing? why? make them stop - NOW.
What really bugs me is the girl in the background, at 19 seconds in...what is she doing? why is she doing it? what has it got to do with *anything*?
