I just saw this one today; it's so new I couldn't even find it on YouTube yet. But in it, two kids are sitting in car seats reading a letter to their father about how they had to wait after sports practice because their dad lost his license and couldn't pick them up. At the end of the commercial, one of the kids (who is quite young and pretty cute) says "Not good, Dad. Not good."
I just thought it was so funny how this little kid was admonishing his dad in such a grown up way. A lot of the time, kids speaking older than what they are in commercials can come off as really pretentious, but this one is actually pretty funny. |

The kids could call mom if they had cell phones...
There was another safe auto commercial where the guy loses everything because he had no insurance...luckily he didn't lose his life...or he was better off dead! (Okay, that was a little low, but it seemed that way). |

Thank God for kids who love Obscure Things.

So how did the kids get to practice in the first place? Did poor old dad get his license yanked right after dropping them off?? And if dad couldn't send mom to pick them up, couldn't he have just sent a taxi? I hate this commercial too. |

That's a good point about how they got to practice in the first place. They don't address that. Maybe we're to think that the practice was held at their school?
