This is the least creative ad I've seen in a long time. Gee, a bikini trimmer, what should we do in the ad? How about a crappy metaphor for trimming bushes by....literally trimming bushes. Way to be creative, was there even a reason they tried to attempt subtlety? The last one gets cut into a triangle, gee...wonder what that's supposed to represent. Go to hell Schick.

This commercial makes me very uncomfortable. To me this is one of those things that should be left behind closed doors. This would be so embarrassing to see in the presence of family!

They should show at least one bush that's bare.

If they'd actually shown someone attempting to trim the wrong kind of bush... well, then it might have at least been funny. But I think they only would've done that had it been a product for men...

I suppose there is little way of conveying it other than through attempts at cleverness and subtlety..
I remember late night crappy ads for Bikini Bare. Basically nair for the southern regions. What really gets me is in today's world are there women who need this? As far as I know it's all brazilian these days |

Just what I needed to see...made me remember some guys who claimed they were at the lounge to "snatch a little 'trim'"...

I'm speechless with this commercial. It saddens me that this comes on in prime time when children are watching tv.

There are varyng degrees of the brazilian wax (landing strip....butt wax.... completely waxed etc.) and most women prefer to pay to have that done rather than attempt the job themselves. There's pain and often blood and guts involved. Not to mention a lot of screaming one would rather the neghbors did not hear. Shaving is cheap.. effectve and easy to do yourself. Or with a friend. Seriously...you can hurt yourself tearing that wax off your cooter.

Daaaaaaaaaaamn!!!
(I'm gonna have to skip that open-faced deli-sliced ham with melted cheese sammie, now...wouldn't seem right, unless I shaved the cheese off...and THEN it might need a shot)

I Hear you on this one clamshell! These Advertisers don't give a rats @$$ WHO is watching their Commercials these days. If they haven't shown this Ad during a Kids Show yet they certainly WILL. I've heard four-year-olds sing that ripped-off Elvis Jingle for that infernal Pill!

Gross, just gross. Classless and tacky.
And pubic hair in general gives me the heebie jeebies. Of course some ultra PC feminist always likes to gets on my case for not going 'au naturel', and how the man is keeping me down, etc etc. Well some of us don't want to look like we just stepped foot out of a cave somewhere in France. So I shave it all off. No need to get all fancy with hedge trimmers and the like. |

Seriously. When I was 12 I knew everything about sex thanks to the Internet, and that was in the 90's when not everybody had a connection, I can't imagine how kids could ever be sheltered now. I'm sure at an even younger age they know everything. All it takes is curiosity and a quick Google search. And what about being a teenager and casually watching tv with your parents? Especially your dad? I couldn't imagine the awkward uncomfort of that situation! It's impossible to watch tv or listen to radio anymore without explicit references to sex/sexuality/private parts. They're not so private any more. |

Yeah, and that's really too bad. Especially for parents who want their children to have at least a few years of innocence when they're growing up. Even some of us grown-ups don't like to be constantly assaulted with images and references to others' privates and maintenance or utilization thereof. Sex doesn't sell to all of us. |
