Anyone try this new Coke product yet? I hear from a few sources that it's quite interesting, and pretty good. I've heard rasoberry, vanilla, cotton candy and cherry.

I don't drink much soda, let alone the non-diet stuff, but this stuff has me curious. I'm gonna see if I can get a can/bottle at work tomorrow.

Apparently, it comes in sugar-free, too. Here's a review:

I dunno.

Doesn't look or sound that great to me.

I don't usually like see-thru, fruit flavored sodas.

Like Fanta or (as he mentioned) Shasta, etc.

Basically he lost me when he started babbling about "speeding through space, cold depths of the universe.... simulate the light of stars... platform to promote cultural connection, creativity, ..."

If I can find a single serve, 16 or 20 oz bottle of it somewhere for a buck, I might try one.

But I won't be expecting much.

Got one from one of the coolers at Walmart. $1.89 for a 20oz bottle.

Not bad. Has a different taste to it. Like cola with a cotton candy aftertaste.

One was enough.

I think a buck 89 would be a bit too much for me to try it out, knowing I probably won't like it.

I'll throw away a buck, but not two.

This sounds like it's meant to appeal to teenagers and 20 somethings.

Yeah, probably. But, of course I like staying "tuned in" to what the teen set finds "groovy". Keeps me "hep" to "the scene".

That was one of my favorite cartoons when I was a kid.

Kinda sad thinking about it now as a modern day adult, knowing about the realities of life for homeless stray cats and dogs in urban areas.

Back then, people never even gave the plight of homeless animals a second thought.

I imagine they wouldn't be allowed to make such a cartoon nowadays unless it was full of warm, fuzzy social messaging.

I liked it, too. It was one of those rare primetime cartoons, like the Flintstones, the Jetsons, Jonny Qwest...

Other cat toons I watched included Felix, Krazy Kat and Courageous Cat.

As far as stray animals, I always had a soft spot. I think having this painting on my bedroom wall helped.

So damned cirny, but it worked for me.
