Deegan's a good driver, but this is not her first controversy. She and her father, Brian, downplayed the virus, saying it was the same as the flu. Brian is a BMX legend who's won quite a few X Games medals.

Could that girl’s guardians sue you for defamation?! I picked Liberty Mutual as the “winner” by a hair. One thing that puts ’em on top (besides LiMu Emu, which needs no explanation), but those “people remember commercials that...” adverts. That’s just begging for a Saturday Night Live parody in which the narrator begins, “Studies show that people remember commercials that irritate the f[beep]k out of them.” If those “so easy a caveman can do it” spots were still running ad nauseam, I’d have picked GEICO, because those ads implied a middle finger to those who are offended or bothered by certain stereotypes and biting humor. |

I remember people promoting ostrich and emu meat as alternatives to beef (especially in England during the mad-cow crisis). You can still get the stuff here, for example. Has anyone on CIH tried it? Based on what the above website states, you might not notice if someone slipped you the bird.

How about...all of the above?
Though I do want to be cheap...Thank God I give YouTube $12 a month so I don't get forced the dumbest commercials in the world! This is how ANY insurance commercial is made... Pretty soon ALL YouTube commercials will be forced-watched. I prefer that since that'll give you a minute or two to go into the kitchen to grab another drink or snack...the 6-15 forced commercials on YouTube doesn't even give you time to do that! |

Liberty Mutual has taken the crown away from Geico but, Geico still comes out with some puke/hate worthy.
And here's a parody of the clogger commercial which I like better.

So, HART, does the apartment in the GEICO "clogging" ad bring back memories? I'm referring to the gray décor that is so de rigueur these days. There are in-patient psychiatric wards that are prettier. (Below is a picture from The Home Depot's website, advertising a new kind of paint.) OMG, I spent more than half of '20 on COVID-19 leave. This "color" scheme would've made going back to work seem like parole! OK, off-topic rant over. |

Do HDTV have AdBlockers? My sister is cheap, so next time I visit her house and they watch YouTube on the HDTV, I'll just excuse myself since most of the vids that eat after the commercial anyhow! We live in a YouTube Nation and it's 100% dumb...so...dumb commercials! |

When you have crap insurance and no creativity, you glom onto the "use a French song" to make your ignorant commercial.

Seen this one a few times. This one, they're trying way too hard with the humor. I've noticed GEICO's been giving their actors more work by instructing people how to watch more commercials and subscribe on YouTube.

Liberty and it's not even close. I think all can agree that Wet Teddy Bears is one of the worst ads of all time. And they somehow manage to up the stupidity with each new Statue of Liberty commercial. The only good commercial they've had so far is the Limo BBQ commercial.
Geico is hit or miss, more miss than hit these days. Jake from State Farm is annoying but tolerable. AllState is just unremarkably bad. Progressive is the best of the bunch; but still hit or miss. I would classify the spill commercial with the girl daydreaming about Cinderella as one of the best commercials of the year.
