Whoever is in charge of creating these United Healthcare "hip and cool" ads for the 65+, f' off.
Why do I see the most GOD awful commercials on Sat. mornings, usually during Good Morning America?? Better question is why the hell do I watch this show?? I miss Bugs Bunny, Sat. cartoons This older one "Wow - Uh huh" is total sewage also! |

This commercial targets people 65 and older, not millenials. What's next, DJ Khaled in one of these ads? Does United Healthcare think that seniors like this type of music? Most seniors I know don't!

You sort of answered your own question. I'd bet that they think the 65+ crowd is looking for the old Sat. morning cartoons. I miss them too! I'm 63. Heck, I'd settle for "The Monkees" reruns |

Give it another 3 years, ICE-T is 62...currently peddling CarShield but that might dry up by 2024. We'll see. |

It will be interesting in 20 to 30 years from now when all the celebs we used to consider young start doing ads for older generations. I'm thinking CarShield ads might stop airing completely by 2024.

Yeah, I realized I was over the hill 10+ years ago when I heard a Buzzcocks song in an AARP commercial. |

Even AARP the Magazine skews younger, both Melissa Etheridge and Sheryl Crow were on the cover, and even though they're both past 50, both were popular in the 90's and early 2000's and tend to appeal to people in their 40's.

"Wow! Uh-hunh!" AARGH! This particular dreck has invaded the radio! I've been hitting the mute button regularly for the TV version and now the car is not a refuge.
