In its day, I thought it was a good show.  I had a serious crush on Sondra.  I had no idea she is a year older than I am. (I was denied access)  Let's try this again.

The Carol Burnett Show (how could I have left that off my original lists?)

In fact, the whole Saturday night lineup:

Mary Tyler Moore
The Bob Newhart Show
(something else)
Carol Burnett

I think that's how the lineup was.

I remember that lineup. I don't know what the "(something else)" is. As far as I remember, MTM was on at 9, Bob Newhart at 9:30 and Burnett at 10.

I think All In The Family was in there, too.

I'm seeing that All in the Family came on at 8. Then, at 8:30 was Bridget Loves Bernie (72-73) and MASH (73-74).

The Odd Couple was one of my favorite shows as a kid.

Many years later when I visited NYC as an adult and I was walking around near The Plaza Hotel and Central Park, in my mind I kept hearing the theme to that show....

Just a celebration of female athleticism. Nothin' wrong with that.

I like the Maude theme song, Family Guy-style.

On Monday mornings, my boss and I would grab coffees and discuss Dallas - other employees knew to leave us alone for those 15 minutes or so! And, yes, the office door was open!

I used to watch Win Ben Stein's Money when I was younger. They had outstanding chemistry together. It's a shame Stein became a right-wing nut about 15 years ago.

Another show that's not on, anywhere, is St. Elsewhere...with a very young Howie Mandel as one of the doctors, and Ed Begley Jr. as well. Bravo showed reruns for a while in the early '00s, then it just...disappeared. None of the OTA networks have it either, not even MeTV. It needs to be brought back in reruns. It was highly-acclaimed and won tons of Emmy Awards.
And for those that mentioned Dallas, I don't think that's on any of the retro networks either. That baffles me, with a 14-season run lasting 'til 1991. Many of the fans back then are still alive...Matlock airs on MeTV daily...why not Dallas? And by the way, the LAST network to run Dallas reruns was TNN, right before they dropped the country programming. That was NEARLY 25 years ago!!
Same with Dynasty, or Knots Landing. Not seen anywhere in decades. Much of the fanbase back then is still alive. I wish one of the retro networks would find room in between the sitcoms.

Oh, and msmadz, at least for my family members, Thursday night was never the 'CBS night', my mom and dad watched Cheers on NBC. Later, 'Friends' and 'Seinfeld' were appointment viewing as was 'Frasier' for my family. I will have to ask if she was a regular Cosby Show viewer too. Not sure if she was. Of course this was long before we knew anything about Cosby's sexual allegations.
Back after a long absence...still hating those commercials. Go away Limu Emu and Doug!

ABC cancelled The Kids Are Alright, Mixed-ish, Rebel…not given a fair shot but some stuff like Grey’s Anatomy enters it’s 3rd decade. (00’s, 10’s, 20’s) and have stupid shows like Bachelor/Bachelorette, Dancing with the Stars & 20/20 be 2 hour shows. This is Us only has one more year..6 seasons total. Also loved American Housewife but the buttheads at ABC canned that one too. Missing Desperate Housewives but streaming the reruns.

I miss sitcoms being on ABC Friday nights (shows like Family Matters/Step by Step) and NBC Saturday nights (Golden Girls/Empty Nest)

The TGIF audience went down to next-to-nothing, and Saturdays are dead zones for television, so no wonder. The last Top 30 Saturday show (primetime, not SNL) was 'The District' on CBS, nearly 20 years ago...before that you have to go back to (I believe) Walker, Texas Ranger or The Pretender.

There's really no TV shows I wish were still on. Most TV shows ran their course if they didn't downright jump the shark.

I used to love The Walking Dead, but that wore out its welcome 3 seasons ago. Is it even still on?

Get a Life was a great sitcom that should've lasted a lot longer than it did. But that's about it.
