What shows do you miss that haven't been on TV in awhile? Here's some of the ones I miss.

-Any Kids show from the 90's and Early 2000's, they were a lot better than today's shows. I know it's a generational thing, but many of these shows were fun to watch. The shows targeted at Preschoolers were better too Playhouse Disney was the one block I used to watch many years ago, Bear in the Big Blue House, PB&J Otter, etc. were excellent in quality and fun to watch.

-Lockup on MSNBC. It's still on in reruns. It's on National Geographic Channel every Friday. It was a very compelling show and some of the inmates stories were interesting.

-Caught on Camera, also on MSNBC. Of all the "caught on tape" shows, this one was my favorite. It was more in-depth than similar shows, the narration was very dramatic, and the stories by the people who captured or survived the events were interesting. Often was a lead-in to Lockup around 4-8 years ago on weekends and was cancelled around the same time as the former.

There's more, but those are the ones I can think of right now.

Scrambled porn. That one or two seconds of clarity always made it worthwhile.

Oh, and the OJ trial. Riveting.

All the old 60's, 70's, 80's & 90's shows I miss are still on TV all the time and I still watch them all the time.

So I guess I don't really miss them.

Agreed. I can't believe it didn't last longer than it did.

And I've never seen them in reruns. I guess I could find them online, but I probably won't.

If they cancelled SNL and only ran the old eps from 1990-2002 before those era casts left, I would be a happy man. Even a lesser episode from those years is 100 times funnier than the SWJ woke bullsh*t that is SNL now.

Jay Leno. Especially his Headlines segments from Monday nights. I watched those for years and in 2006 he ran one that I sent in. It took me a second to recognise "Hey! That one was mine!" Smile

Dateline's To Catch A Predator. It's since gone on to legendary status on various Youtube channels devoted to just TCAP and Hanson's short lived crowd sourced 2016 sequel series 'Hanson Vs Predator'

I live less than 30 miles from where it was taped. Roslyn WA. I've been into Roslyn a couple times since moving to Ellensburg and both times I've gone into the little grocery store to grab a $4.50 bottle of Roslyn's Brookside Lager. A delicious light beer in the Oktoberfest style. Need to take a friend up to The Brick one of these days when COVID19 restrictions die off. That's the nationally-famous bar, the oldest in WA, still has a spittoon at the bar.
The 'KBHR' studios are now an art gallery. Ruth Anne's store in the show is the current grocery store I visit, Joel's office is now a gift shop.
Back after a long absence...still hating those commercials. Go away Limu Emu and Doug!

Married With Children was like a breath of fresh air at the end of a decade of sappy sitcoms.

Hey, maybe they can bring back The Cosby Show now that he's out of prison. I didn't like it back then, but I might like it now.
