'Plant-Based'

Are the Vegan's trying to take my meat away? Angry
The EMT's will have to pry my cold dead fingers off of that blessed final BEEF burger!

I want cruciferous cauliflower made from beef!

And!  Can they make a nice cut of steak like this from plants?  I hope not!

So many things have been banned in the past or are being considered being banned now, some good, some bad.  Here's just a few:

ban on smoking

ban on fast food restaurants

ban on vaping

ban on plastic bags

ban on corporal punishment

ban on assault weapons

ban on reciting the Pledge of Allegiance

ban on plastic straws

ban on alcohol

And now a ban on meat?  Take away my prime rib?  My hamburger?  My porterhouse?  My bacon?  My turkey on Thanksgiving?  They better have invented replicators like they have on StarTrek before they do away with food!  I never thought banning cigarettes would happen... everyone I know used to smoke.  Look what happened.  It's scary, what these so called do-gooders can make happen if they push hard enough and we don't push back.

No Sh*t?  How does it taste?  What is the texture? Is it easy to chew?  I'm old, dammit!

If you don't expect bacon, it's good.  I do 3 strips with an Eggo waffle or toast. A bit chewy or crispy depending on how long you microwave it. Tastes like a combo of jerky and potato chips.

The big Q is, how expensive?

How much do you get?

I might give it a try.

Jazz up my breakfast a bit.

Didn't mean to get on my soapbox...sorry.  It's just that I hate being pushed around by special interest groups.  Angry  Besides, I'm a protein junkie.  I love steak, and I'll be the first person out there holding a protest sign if they try to outlaw red meat!

No need to be sorry! I see no soapbox.  Just some opinions from a wise woman.  I share the same opinions!

One of those already in effect in my county and I could live with banning all the others, except maybe one.

Nope. Never passing my lips. On the rare times I eat sausage or bacon, you better believe it's going to be pork! And beloved and I have a sausage kitchen. This stuff makes me weep.

I eat two turkey breakfast sausage links crumbled up into a fritada with cheese, every morning for breakfast....

I'd rather have the pork and beef kind, but eating it every day, I figure I'd best minimize the amount of red meat I consume.

These taste pretty good, too.

(There was supposed to be a pic of an ingredient label showing 'mule meat' with this post, but apparently it doesn't load, so hopefully this update explains the joke (ass = mule) )
