Has ANYONE known a couple that got married  Las Vegas and actually STAYED MARRIED for more than a few weeks? How about THIS cute couple?
Cry"I...I...I was drunk and didn't realize what I was doing! I'm NOT really gay! And now - the whole family thinks I AM! I WANT Roberto the Pool Boy back!!! This just isn't going to work any other way!..."
I mean, I get it - ANYONE can get married, yea - but WHY in VEGAS of all places? Why not Baltimore?

IDK, but from looking at their faces in profile, they could be sisters.  Maybe that's where that 'drunk' thing comes in..?  Wink

Quote I mean, I get it - ANYONE can get married, yea - but WHY in VEGAS of all places? Why not Baltimore?

Because in Vegas you can do it in style, by having it officiated by an Elvis impersonator and attended by shotgun-armed LVPD as your witnesses/guests/side of the family.  Baltimore?  You'll get some guy wearing an Orioles sweatshirt vomiting behind a potted palm in the lobby...  LOL

ConfusedOuch
Thank You for dragging us kicking and screaming into the terrible world of 'remote reality' there, MrT...
okokok already! Methinks we've given in to all 'sensitivities' leaving only the old West Virginia/Arkansas ways of the  groom who walked out on his lovely bride on their wedding night after learning she was still a virgin.
Angry"...if yew ain't good 'nuff fer family, yew ain't good 'nuff fer me!...".
Next thing you know, 'Kissin' Kuzins' and all other flocks and off-shoots of the 'Incest Is Best' believers will be screaming for 'Equal Rights' or, if they come from a lineage that has believed for generations, then they might settle for 'Equal Lefts'. Yea, sure fine. Yell and scream! Hold up a toothbrush and tell me you invented it and that you are important...and I'll tell you that you are from Arkansas and a 'marketing idiot' because, if it was invented ANYWHERE ELSE, it would have been called a 'Teethbrush'.
And YOU want equal rights? YOU want to be considered when it comes to matters of diversity?
I don't think so - Homey don't play 'dat.
WinkLOL

A few of the managers at work are lesbians.  One of 'em looks like Bob's Big Boy ('cept fatter---much, much fatter).  Not someone you'd want to see doing lesbian porn.  She's awful, like a drill sergeant (or prison guard---like she actually used to be).  Many complaints lodged against her.

The Bob's Big Boy Lesbo Mgr. probably got kicked out of the dept. of corrections.  People who are drawn to that type of work usually hang on to those jobs, as they are very well paid and get great benefits.

They never use the dyke type of lesbian in these ads or TV shows.  They're the lipstick lesbians so the guys can have their girl-on-girl action fantasies.

I really don't care who married who or what...
...but I still am curious if ANYONE not on 'section 8' and without ability to head to the next town would even consider getting married in the U.S.ofA.'s 'Clown Central Capitol'.

My last visit to "Lost Wages" was in 1982. The last time I slightly gambled there was January 1974. I have somewhere less than zero luck at gambling. I have no reason to go there. In 1974 I stayed at the long gone Flamingo. I have seen the recent LV on TV but would be lost if I visited in person.

My beloved youngest son lives there and is the ONLY reason I would go near the place.

I visited Las Vegas on a weekend in November, 1993 where I SET A WORLD RECORD (I only lost $20.00!) Big smile I was more interested in the shows and riding the then newly completed Canyon Blaster roller coaster at Circus Circus than I was in playing those silly games. They got my pocket change, but that was it. LOL

PS. I got to fly there FOR FREE! Big smile

^^^Yea, o.k., sure, fine...but the question remains: Did you get married in Las Vegas? And all this free and cheap stuff? Have you not heard the old saying, 'How you got to Vegas and what you caught, won or lost, and how you got back from Vegas can STAY IN VEGAS' Wink

The free airline ticket was one of three I procured on the same day on 11/28/1992 (Delta Airlines was passing them out like there was no tomorrow on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Needless to say it was a case of "Git 'em while the Gittin's GOOD!" Big smile ( I used another one to go amusement park-hopping in Texas in March, 1993 and I gave the third ticket to my mother, which she used to visit my grandmother after she was hospitalized after being in an accident in April of 1993). Shocked
