I dare you. A bunch of losers are playing basketball. The ball get thrown at a semi, which crashes into the basket pole. Then the losers descend on Kay Jewelers en-mass. What does it mean?

IIRC the crane from the semi crashes into the basketball hoop. Decimating it. Reason? I have no clue! Reason for going to Kay after that? I haven't a clue about that either. Makes no sense!

I haven't seen it yet but I would dare say that it's another case of guys being made to feel guilty for "hanging out with the boys" and having to buy jewelry for their SO's as "penance".

I've been looking for this video. JC Penney has a new VD commercial out too.

Yeah....It's supposed to shame all of the men into buying expensive jewelry for the one they love.
Some things are more important than material things.

Sum-bitch, I found it!

Okay, apparently half the hilarity of this commercial is supposed to come from the fact that these guys are "Dude Perfect". They're so famous that you're just supposed to know who they are.

We can make this the unofficial Valentine's Day VD thread, I threw up in my mouth a little bit when I saw this.

I don't know what's worse:

Being a singleton and having VD crammed down your throat which reminds you how un-hooked up (and lonely and forlorn) you are Cry  OR

Being hooked up (married, living together) and having VD crammed down your throat with the pressure of having to live up to all the hype, especially if you can't afford a new diamond jewelry gift for that special someone in your life Ermm  OR

Dating a chick and having that chick expect to get something for VD, but you're just not that into her.  Broken Heart

What a lame-ass commercial.  A bunch of circle jerkers run into a jewelry store to buy their girls a present.  Did they all compare who has the most money and gets the biggest diamond?  If those "dudes" are that into each other, maybe they should buy each other a diamond.  Shocked

I would hook up with you in a heartbeat! If I weren't married to a wonderful, attractive woman.

If I weren't 3000 miles away.  If I was still young and attractive.  Shoot, the list goes on.

BTW Dude Perfect (lame name) I'm familiar with them commercial-wise they did spot for Xfinity last year. Where a guy in helicopter above an Xfinity Store (not sure if those exist in real life) threw a basketball into a basketball hoop at street level. I wonder how many tries it took (would love to see the blooper reel).

That poor streetlight!how dare they abuse street furniture like that!

I didn't know they were supposed to be well known. I just thought they were random guys doing a G rated Jackass stunt, then bought each other best friends bracelets.

does the 'bro' market really entice Kay to make this train wreck to spur jewel purchases from A-holes?

ConfusedDang - I guessed wrong again. I was positive he was the girlfriend because he threw a basketball at the semi driver. The only semi drivers I've ever known have been sort of real men and their 'women' had better be smiling, or else! (beard or no beard). I get so confused in these 'new & confused sex days'...

Another pussy whipped man, she likes to wear a lot of lipstick?

Not for me, sorry. I was never attracted to a high maintenance woman.

He looks so gay.  (Not that there's anything wrong with it.)  All the guys in the department store ads, such as Macy's with the ubiquitous black guy prancing around with his "girlfriend" all the time must be gay.  Confused

You can't see beyond the hair. Are we sure that's a woman? The guy looks like Sheldon Cooper.

OK, enough with the fancy ass jewelry and lipdick.

FOOD!!  That's what she wants! So do I!!  If Mama is willing, she will pick up some nice steaks and potatoes from Outback.  She's already half way there.

^I cracked up last time I saw that ad. It's an obvious spoof on those schmaltzy jewelery ads! Her reaction is priceless!

I am beyond confused how they tied in this d bag with a jewelry store. "Trick shots are hard, but VDay doesn't have to be." Ah....clever?Confused

Yeah I'm not familiar with this goofball either or why he's popular. He annoyed the living hell out of me in that Xfinity ad a few months ago. He reminds me a little like Chevy wuss Potsch - if he sported baggy clothes and his hat backwards like he's a former washed up member of House Of Pain.

If he's all about stupid extreme tricks and nonsense. I'd wish he would sit down and eat a nice big bowl of TidePods with some milk and go away.

I wanna see one instance where he flubs up the helicopter to basketball hoop shot. He misses the shot and hits a person in the head street level!
