If she's that busy, she wouldn't be that heavy. Neither would her daughter.
A little too much fast food?  Maybe, she should go with Oprah or Marie.

"save $30 on your next box"  Holy sh!t!  If you are giving me 30 bucks off, how friggin much is it?

Yeah you can GENERALLY tell how much something costs based on any discounts you might receive.

Guilty Mom should be on Medifast, SlimFast, or some kind of fast.  Those two kids of hers are porkers and it's her fault for letting them get that way.  Salads do not take that long to prepare, neither does lean meat or cooked vegetables.  Confused

Salads, lean meat, cooked vegetables...or perhaps a teensy bout of anorexia.  Bulimia might work, too, but to me, that just seems like a waste of good food.

Wow, they really are a buncha fatties.

I think those pre-boxed meals are priced by the serving, so if you buy meals for three people, one serving a person for five days, that's 15 servings at around $8 - $10 per serving not counting any promotions or discounts. So, you're talking around $120 - $150 a week just to feed three people one serving of dinner, five nights a week.

WTF?????

And I'm guessing that $30 discount only applies after you order a minimum amount.

I'm sorry. I don't care how "busy" someone claims to be or how demanding their job is. Going to the grocery store really isn't that time consuming, especially if you make a list in advance. And it's certainly a lot cheaper than buying these damn boxes every week.

One of the things that bugs me about these commercials is that when they show these nitwits cooking, they always have expensive cookware, appliances, ingredients, etc.  For example, Miss BusyBusyBusy EMT supermom uses expensive Colavita olive oil, and I see she is using an enamel cast iron pan-maybe Le Creuset? Puh-lease!

I guess if she can afford to blow $150 a week on five dinners for herself and two kids, she can afford the most expensive ingredients and most expensive cookware.

Exactly. That's why she is always "too busy" to go grocery shopping or make sure her kids are eating properly, apparently. It's because she is always at work making those big bucks for her fancy lifestyle.

And honestly, for probably half the price these meal services change, she could stop at Boston Market on her way home every night and pick up a reasonably healthy and filling meal for all three of them.

Maybe a chicken and vegetable pizza once in awhile.

I guess there truly is a sucker born every minute.
