I so hope he pulls through somehow.   Certainly my first recognition of a very fine voice--when he was in the Partridge Family.

If his organ failed, I would think NYC is full of great musical shops with fantastic organs...

Hope recovery is still an option for Mr. Cassidy - too many people dropping like flies, these days.

Yeah, he was a good singer, but good Gawd, that show could be soooooooooo corny at times.

Mostly during the musical numbers like in the video.

Other than that, it wasn't too bad of a show. Almost watchable.

Still plays every afternoon on Antenna TV, two episodes in a row.

Hope he recovers.

God's collecting musicians again, he took ACDC's Malcolm Young, and already has David Bowie, Tom Petty, almost all the Ramones, and even Davey Jones! Tell him to stop it. Hope David Cassidy pulls through.

Don't know if you're old enough to remember this song...

I doubt if David Cassidy is going to pull through with multiple organ failure and in a medically induced coma.  His family has been notified to prepare for the worst.  Not a great way to enter into the Thanksgiving/Christmas Season for this family.  Very sad, but David would not want to live with the dementia he's been battling for the past three years.  May peace be with him and his family and loved ones.

ShockedConfused...well, it's still not quite a wrap, kiddies - when David Cassidy passes away, we'll kind of/sort of have one of those 'super groups'.

Charley, Mel, David, and Della

Not a Barbershop Quartet, but all were musicians at one time or another...

^  Don't forget Malcolm Young, Pa.

It just dawned on me.  Charlie, Mel and Della all died on my birthday.

Why couldn't Malcolm have waited a day?

Death announcements on fake news websites are a hoax.  David Cassidy has come out of his coma, is conscious, and his family has rushed to be by his side, including son Beau Cassidy, brother Patrick Cassidy and ex-wife Sue Shifrin.  Official update is critical but stable.

At this point, it'd all have to be divided into genres and subgenres---Acid Rock Heaven, Speed Metal Heaven, Post-Punk Heaven, Grindcore Heaven, Doo Wop Heaven...
